It's a shame that reading comprehension and critical thinking isn't stressed more in schools. Then again, the fact that so many lack those skills has kept me employed.
Key point to the article has been video game fanboys with no business training or experience keep trying to give their amateur analyses and coming to the conclusion that Xbox and MS are doomed when that couldn't be further from the truth. Please, go to college and take a few finance and marketing...
This is COD so what I'm really wondering is how different the PS4 and XB1 look from the PS3 and X360 versions. There was only minor differences with Ghosts.
LOL, I guess that's something but Ghosts really sucked.
It's a pretty creepy little game but interesting.
Thanks. I'm pretty sure I had my NAT type set to 'open' but I can't recall for sure.
And I love that I got two disagrees for asking a question. Smh
OK, serious question and I'm hoping for some mature gamers can answer it for me. I had two PS4's which I sold due to latency issues, specifically, playing COD or BF4 resulted in my character taking several seconds to move, suddenly staring up at the sky, etc., etc. My question is, did anyone else here experience latency issues before and did this update fix them? I'm looking for real replies, not "OMG THIS IS THE BESTEST UPDATE 4EVA!" I know I'm asking a lot but ...
It's real simple LeCreuset... heap ridiculous amounts of praise on Sony, earn bubbles. Point out anything that is not high praise of Sony, lose bubbles. Point out a positive of Xbox One, lose even more bubbles.
Xbox One has already received many updates. To call this Sony update "the first true gen update for all consoles" is fanboyism, pure and simple. I await my massive amounts of disagrees and loss of bubble for not toeing the Sony line.
I'm not having an aneurysm over it but I am fairly passionate about censorship. There's already too much of it and it's always in the name of the children and what's suitable. Look how many times so-called family groups propose banning "violent" video games.
The points I was trying to make were 1) censorship is wrong, 2) nudity and/or "risqué" dress is not porn, and most importantly, 3) you can always go to another channel should the...
So if you don't like a certain channel, is there something preventing you from leaving that channel and going to another one? Maybe you prefer a dorky dude. That's fine. By why should your preference have anything to do with mine? Are you so arrogant that you think all channels should be devoted only to what you like? I'd rather see a cute girl stream a game and I don't consider that the same as porn. Even if she should flash (which is a somewhat different matter) it is ...
Very lame, but then again, censorship is always lame and so are those that defend it. I don't need a company telling me what I should or shouldn't find appropriate. If I don't find it appropriate, I won't watch it. But if someone else likes it why should that bother me and vice versa as long as it is not harming anyone. It's ridiculous. Oh wait, a kid might see a scantily clad lady? Oh no! What is this, the Taliban? And if it really concerns you THAT much, institut...
Good point googer. It's pretty hypocritical to ban someone for showing too much skin and then offer a service to watch people play games that show a bunch of skin.
I don't know about that analysis ATi. I'm not sure how old you are so you may not remember this but Sony used to be the #1 consumer electronics manufacturer by a landslide. If you wanted the best TV you got a Sony...period. Any personal music device that was not a Sony was just considered a cheap knockoff of a Sony Walkman. What the iPhone is now is what Sony was for TV and music electronics. But in the 90s, they became more diversified and perhaps lost focus. Their quality went ...
Gamergate? Seriously?
memots, check my comment history if you like. I owned two PS4s and an Xbox One. I sold both PS4s as they were collecting dust. It's not an uncommon occurrence for people that have actually owned both consoles. I have nothing against Sony or I would not have bought them, I just think the hype towards them this generation is unwarranted and illogical. Again, that's just my opinion.
Well said pontiac08g8gt. People complaining over policies MS changed long ago to please them sound extremely childish. I HAD both the PS4 and XB1. Sold the PS4 because I didn't use it and found the online play to be inferior. I bought it again a couple months later because I wanted to like it and hoped they'd improved it. Nope. Sold that one too. My XB1 gets lots of use, runs great and has no issues. People that don't check it out or are "angry" at Microsoft are ...
Nice novel. Wow. You clearly don't have a biased/skewed viewpoint.
@Death If investors wanted to know they woukd ask and MS would show it. Investors aren't concerned enough to ask because anyone that is not a fanboy knows the XB1 is doing very well.
Couldn't agree more. On dual shockers they're arguing about the accuracy of VGchartz and how current their numbers are blah, blah, blah. I just don't get it. Why would anyone care so much that they take the time out of their day to research that stuff? If your identity is that closely tied to which console you happen to play then you really need to get out more and reexamine your priorities.
I was very impressed by how MS handled the RRoD. They didn't hassle anyone sending them in even when they technically weren't eligible, they just fixed/replaced it. And really, most people I know never had the issue. The only guy I knew that did bought his used from GameStop. After about a year of heavy play it RRoD. Contacted MS and they sent a box out a couple days later. Has had a new one ever since.
I really wish the 4 disagrees would state why they disagree. Did you see huge improvements in the next gen titles verse the old gen? I didn't see it and most gaming journalists didn't either. Or am I just getting down votes because I also mentioned Xbox?
