Some huge games this month. Loads of PS exclusives
Must be a lot of demand
This is EA issue guys, Sony wouldn't modify a video from a third party without consent. So EA most likely provided the footage.
That's because:
1. Zelda is the biggest franchise for Nintendo other than Mario, and there is almost nothing else to play that is exclusive on the system, so gamers are having to buy MK8 and Zelda, because there isn't anything else. While on other platforms there are plenty of games.
2. Zelda is an established franchise and has been around for decades, Horizon came out this year in March, from a developer that was known for FPS so it's a given that peop...
It's going to cost a lot more too, and the specs don't matter if the games aren't there! That's the main thing, forget making a new console, just invest in more unique, high-quality games. We've been let down several times by things like Quantum Break, and Scalebound being cancelled. Just give us a couple of new IPs that are 90+ score games, and that will be enough to turn heads.
I don't think it is a very common issue tbh, but does happen to some people. Probably a few bad batches.
Resi 7 as well!!
I agree 100%.
Never believe Geoff Keighley's hype, unless you really want to see a new character for Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze.
Hopefully it lives up to the hype, I think it will.
what a lame comment...
@Obelisk - Yeah Armchair is correct. They would have to improve textures manually for each game. There was an element of PS1 games looking better on PS2, but I don't think they could get better than that without additional resources.
Yeah but for those who are quite well-versed in the industry, PSTV is perfect, but for the average person looking for a gift for their kids, a classic console is perfect. That's why the NES mini is selling so well. If they did an N64 mini, that would be really cool as well.
True, but doesn't have the brand power of PlayStation One imo. If they released it like this, and specifically made it look like a PS1 with a few games preloaded, it would sell millions.
Bit Vita means life, how can it be dead?
@christoculus - You need to read between the lines. If he disagrees with Pachter on the price, then it's going to be more expensive. It's a very safe assumption, because they did the same thing with the always online stuff before Xbox One launch.
Sounds like it will be at least $449, probably $499 if they follow the Xbox One's initial launch price which Phil thought was a brilliant price until he basically got no applause at the announcement. I seriously doubt i...
They seem to be good at changing after you complain, but there will be loads of people who don't and just get shafted
It's BS that people who pre-ordered earlier might get shafted. It;s a shame to think that they will probably get away with it too unless people read this story.
I agree with SgtPepper, there's a lot of nostalgia in the game industry because those that are the journalists used to own NES, SNES, N64 etc and remember that at that point, Nintendo was a good console maker, but that's because they didn't have much competition. Microsoft and Sony are leagues ahead of Sega in those days, and gamers nowadays aren't content with the same Mario shell with a different skin on it every 3 months!
It is mind-boggling that they get...
Problem with Knack 2 is so many reviewers have got prejudice formed from playing the first game. If you read some of them, they are really petty e.g. Metro, it's almost like he hates platforming games, and if so, why is he reviewing Knack 2?
Yookah-Laylee was ok, but it had a lot of camera issues. This is much more polished compared to that.
