He's very out of touch if he thinks the last FF came out in 2016. FF7 Remake is included in that IP, and it's actually well worth buying that IP for Japan alone. MGS as well, pretty sure Sony can get Kojima on board if they purchase his baby essentially.

I understand that at the moment Bethesda is saying the games will not be exclusive, but if MS start losing quite badly in the console war, there's no doubt in my mind that they would start leaning on Zenimax for some exclusivity.
Why would it be over. Bloodborne/Dark Souls are very niche games,. most people don't really care about them. The only studio in Japan that you'd consider a knockout punch is Square Enix, they have shitload of IP including all the Eidos IP

Second, she is allowed to have a different opinion to you. she hasn't said anything like "go beat up transpeople", it's just another situation where the alphabet people have gotten their pitchforks out to demonize someone with actual success, and it makes that community looks really bad.
Why do people care? Really? I can understand that you might want to play the odd game for nostalgia reasons, but it doesn't really matter if you don't.
That said the likelihood is that digital versions of the games will still work, which is good enough imo.
I'm defintely going to play this, but I actually thought that trailer was really crap. It felt like it was edited by a 13 year old, and the OTT British accents were really annoying (and I'm British!)

I don't think they actually lied, they just made a bit of a crappy game with no real goal. It was pretty obvious from when they were promoting it, it just felt completely aimless and it was it seems.
We need a AAA studio to pick one of these up, because there's lots of opportunity because every world can be different. I mean even if Ubisoft picked it up, they could outsource several of the worlds to their different studios and it would still work.

If you had one 360 and several games + XBL then you would obviously get a replacement if it RRODed out of warranty. I got one replacement for free and bought the next one because it was out of warranty.
Anyone who is playing for 30 hours straight needs to get a life. 10-12 hours is more than enough, even 6-8 hours is enough. You shouldn't be playing marathon sessions for that long anyway, it's not good for you
He didn't say anything about sales numbers?? They needed to show some bigger games, Crash 4 was the best thing they showed.
@Mr Pumblechook - Totally not what he said. The question was can Microsoft make their money back if the games were exclusive to Xbox, to which he replied "yes". Because that's true, it would take longer but they would make their money back eventually.
The question wasn't will Bethesda games be Xbox-exclusive, I don't think they will be because of the rest of his answer.
