I don't think that would work because it would probably be a lot of time spent developing a system for it, but games will still have the national rating system applied. So it might be 18 on the game rating, but if there was a way to censor it for younger gamers, the overall rating probably still be 18, so waste of time and money for devs in the end.

Definitely a great feature if it works as well as described. I'd be interested to see it in practice though, then we can see the difference between the 2 consoles. Also, I doubt Sony will just rollover, they probably have something similar in the works.

Good old F1, nice to see some significant additions this time

This will be a PS5 system seller when some PC gamer's can't wait 3 years for the sequel.

The first game is obviously Haze lol

I think this will be one of those situations where it looks better IRL than in the render. They've gone very bold though, it's like an Alienware pc almost

Yeah these 2 games looked really good in different ways

But Killzone 2 looked better than the E3 reveal...

The games will be developed for lowest common denominator, but if the IO speed speeds up loading on PS5 significantly, developers AREN'T going to slow it down on purpose to match XSX. There might be a situation where a loading screen is covered with a cutscene or something, but load times will be quicker on PS5 for every game by the looks of it.

@TheAquanox - No need to get your panties in a bunch. Just wait a week and then they'll show it.

I really doubt it will be $500, that's too much. I reckon $450 is the highest they will go

Definitely sounds like a start up noise

@dcbronco - he's not talking about graphics, he's talking about the ssd which other devs including cerny have explained, should mean they can design a game the way they want to because of the quick loading times. Naughty Dog even mentioned that with Jak & Daxter 3 I think, they had to create loads of alleys and corridors in order for the console to have time to load all the textures and models in time. If they didn't have a bottleneck on loading, the game would have looked ver...

Sonic was pretty good I thought, Jim Carrey did a great job. Detective Pikachu was good as well but would have preferred a general live action Pokémon film tbh

Thousands of games due to backwards compatibility, which is nice, but really it's the games that are XSX only that we want to see and play. Or at least games that are launching around the same time as XSX across gen

Doubt anything will be $299, $499 for the top end sounds plausible with a game.

Does seem to make a huge difference have a developer lead on the design of the console. I think Cerny learned a lot from PS4 design issues and that's why PS5 has gone in such a different direction.

This just seems like fantasy. I don't think Sony will price at $499. If they are over $399 it will be $449 max. Also Sony will also be willing to take a loss like they have every generation, so it's not going to be a case where they rollover and take it.

The Xbox 360 figures are probably realistically around what the Xbox One figures are because so many people had to buy more than one due to RRod. I had 3 myself due to rrod!

If it works, great. Looks like the heatsink is underneath the cpu/board whereas normally it rests directly on top of the cpu. This should mean a smaller form factor, but could mean overheating issues. Hopefully not though, so excited!!
