yeah, I can certainly agree.
with game pass I'm playing a lot of stuff for free🕊️
✌️😜👍 🖖😉🤳 🧏 🤸
yes, they are.
my comment above was simply about the realities of it...
also, @ 1Victor: you have some games they're doing that on the first week, out of the amount of games that are released? not very many
and inflation does have everything to do with it,
because the cost of making games compared to what it was 15 to 20 years ago (you can Google it and look for yourself,)
the cost of making a game has skyrocketed.
again I...
true enough,
doesn't mean whoever's made the allegations (if they're backed up)
can't or won't Sue.
just not sure how that works in France or Canada, other parts of the world.
the states, if he's an agent of the company it's the company that always gets sued not the individual...
been saying this since the middle of the current generation, and not to try and stir up a bunch of shit, it's just a fact.
these huge single player games AAA productions that have been $60 for 15 years plus is coming to an end.
nobody wants microtransactions
( I understand that) nobody wants DLC they have to pay for/ cosmetics, and they don't want to pay for season passes as well.
fact is, game production has gotten so ridiculously expensive it...
speaking outside of the allegations,
word is (or was, rather) that he was also overseeing a new splinter cell game,
seeing as he was creative director on conviction as well as co-creative director on blacklist, so this doesn't bode well for whatever that project is going to be or was going to be.
as far as continuing the investigation,
I kind of find that (I know it's not a funny situation) statement a little bit amusing.
he left the co...
real threat to rainbow six siege,
is that it ran its course we'll over a year ago.
now it's just getting placeholder/crap content.
it's still a great game for what it is.
but it's time for a new one, a real rainbow six game with a campaign.
I love the fact that at least someone remembers,
during the PS3 era how many bad games, and studios were shuttered during that era. you get nothing but rose-colored/ perfect hindsight about that now...
most companies hate it too, it's a waste of their time/money, and they have to check off all these extra boxes, and go by a bunch of prerequisites because on one hand,
you have people that are so sensitive to anything said, in any way, you can't even have a normal conversation that they don't approve of.
and then you've got fucking idiots, who just don't understand there certain things you can't say/certain ways you can't act around the opposite ...
I guess Maxime beLand and the other guy are terminated, so much for splinter cell...
"head of Diversity"
A.K.A. someone to manage damage - liability.
Corporate diversity?
an placeholder/ figurehead position, filled by a moron, and a ton of stuff on legal paper that we can show plaintiffs attorneys when were being sued...
well thank God,
for all of us people that don't give a shit about their internal problems and strife,
and really would just like to see them get their shit together as far as making better quality games, and be more consistent with releases/updates/QA...
other than that?
yeah, great news.
glad to hear it.
go team 🎉 🙄
@hakuro:
-> "If" <- the biggest word in all of existence, and there's a whole lot of that going around along with the speculation... careful when you're stretching like that you don't pull something.
the reason "so many devs have been praising it" is because the context of their statements is most of the time, in relation to actually, the previous console generation, and are being cherry-picked as to how they're being put in articl...
THIS 👆
and that's your guess and hasn't been proven.
this is just more flamebait for clicks bullshit, neither console has been released yet and it's already getting old... (that's a huge boast, 8 seconds, wow 😱 ...is this what it's become?! )
the ssds in both new high-end consoles are going to be a game changers.
they're going to be utilized in different ways across-the-board by many different developers.
as far as the difference in...
if I'm not mistaken,
a lot of the complaints (I know mine) about metacritic don't come from reviewers, it comes from people that bomb the site and post zeros. particularly people that have never played a game.
that's the problem with metacritic,
I see that as being a completely separate issue.
as far as Sony contacting them?
yeah I do think that's a bit out of line,
you're actually one of the developers that w...
oh we'll all benefit (at some point) that's the whole thing,
when the tech demo came out
(and wasn't anything against PlayStation or the PS5)
it's like, okay... this is the same thing they did before,( and it's been cited a couple of forum posts up) the Samaritan video*
you got something that looks similar to that, many years later but not running, actually as pretty as that looked.
I'd be happy if the consoles that are...
Bottom line, in all actuality:
they're tech demo didn't show Jack shit, just the [possibilities] of what [could] be done on actual hardware...
At some point in time.
sorry, it's just...
the presentation was some snake oil salesman bullshit, that's all there is to it.
Show me something:
#1. running on actual hardware.
#2. being played on actual hardware.
Exactly.
... and their tech demo wasn't running on it.
And there it is...
it's amazing how much arguing back and forth there was over this, and it
just being a simple representation of one console's hardware, (and probably not the best one) under the best circumstances.
you could arguably make a Target render video that looked almost identical to that, with current hardware of the high-end consoles.
it always comes back to the same answer:
we're going to see what everyone and everyt...
I would think the majority of console players don't,
simply because of the advantages of mouse and keyboard (if you're not using it) as well as it's far more difficult to keep a handle on the amount of cheating that goes on.
there's simply things within a console ecosystem that you cannot do
(undetected/untraceable) that when PC is allowed into the system a lot of those safeguards just don't work.
always finding new and better ...
