well I've spent the past two days playing The avengers beta and this doesn't look anything like that, it looks like a different principal.
this looks like the Arkham games but with the ability to play co-op.
avengers is a very nerfed superhero experience, that isn't very "super" at least in my opinion.
this looks more grounded.
I'm hoping it's exactly as it's presented, a game with some length /RPG depth that you can play co-op with a friend.

there's a big crowd out there that automatically wants to throw something into a category and label it before they've even gotten all the particulars.
for myself it looks very different from a live service game.
to me it just looks like a co-op RPG style adventure with some serious depth to it.
but lots of people would like to see them trudge out Batman for a fifth entry in the same shit, so if I'm not getting that let me label it as something it isn...

like a game that's much older(360 era) good production values, everything looks great but very static placement, nothing dynamic about it.

only reason I ever buy collector's editions or upgraded editions of anything, is to get additional content and season passes, things like that.
I try to get it all included if I can,
I don't care about collecting anything or the "swag" but this idea of not getting a physical disc or not giving people that option, isn't something I can support.
I think that's not going to bode very well for them.
it's great co-op, but the single player is nothing but a Drudge,
and there's parts I found to be just an out and out slog to begin with.
it's not a very dynamic/interesting game,

I'm on Xbox and I don't see it as an advantage.
I personally think the PS controller needed some improvements in a few areas and they've certainly done that, to a very positive degree.
it stands to reason that the previous design of the controller, if there's enough basic functional capability upgrades, would become obsolete.
