it's over dramatic, really?
for them to take a function like a name change, and completely screw it up is pathetic, especially for as long as they've been working on it.
They COULD build a completely new database,
and require everyone to opt into it. you can keep your name or not,
you can change it if you want,
that ends the whole thing.
No, they have to try and do it the way that's easiest for them,

Warren Spector is a true visionary,
and one of the most brilliant people ever to work in gaming.
a lot of the modern sensibilities in shooting games (hell, almost every game) having a progression or skill tree or any element of RPGs is something he spearheaded, along with the experience of a game essentially being the results of how you go at any given mission or objective,
In games like the division ghost recon or anything/everything else...
he bel...
well supposedly enemy variety and type is something they can, and have talked about upgrading.
Now with today's technology they can upgrade just about everything, they've definitely said they're going to add maps, which is nice.
originally it was announced with only 3 maps then they added the Tokyo map not long before release, so I was pretty happy about that.
again for $40 title it does a good job, really good job,
Definitely agree with that statement, but I think it's a much better game engine, better framerate and hit detection, the weapon upgrades are substantive, they do make a difference, there's a basic AR in the game(there is actually several assault weapons in different spots a bullpup rifle the weapons variety is quite good) that has 20 rounds,
once you get a 30 round clip for it, it makes a big difference, along with attaching a silencer to a lot of weapons, and the fact that...
All of the things about enemy variety and type, is essentially true, but I will say for $40 I'm not at all disappointed👍 I've been playing it for the past 24 hours with my old left 4 dead buddy, and even when you have randoms coming in and out,
it's great, a lot of fun ✌️
certainly worth the asking price...
Well if you're looking for something to scratch that Left 4 Dead itch,
"World War Z" just released,
and I've been playing that with friends, it's extremely reminiscent of Left 4 Dead, except with a progression system and access to a hell of a lot better weapons/ explosives /gadgets etcetera...
don't know if you've tried it or not on any platform,
but it is a lot of fun 👍
As a gamer of 17 years,
and this obviously being your own personal preference, in correlation to whatever the hell else you're trying to say: blow it out your ass...
third person is a far superior way to play, when done well by people that understand how to implement it...
🤘😉👍 ☘️
but if it can be finished so quickly and easily, without having that difficulty level,
than maybe there is a problem with the content level.
I don't know ... it's ridiculous to me. "here, we'll artificially Enlongate the game by making it so ridiculously difficult, so you get killed continuously, and experience cheap deaths, continuously....
that's good game design?
I guess in a lot of people's minds that is, but I find that fuc...
@majorLazer,
To all the people relating self-esteem/superiority,
to playing an entertainment product at a certain difficulty mode/setting:
Get a life.
How does it cheapen anybody's accomplishment, for someone else to play it at a lesser difficulty, when included in the game?
this mentality has always been as baffling to me as it is laughable ...
We're for the "hardcore", we don't want your money...
Not only is the political spin from a personal biased viewpoint so very apparent (we get it: you don't like Tucker Carlson, he's somewhere embedded in the back of your mind, and you just have to get it out..)
but it sounds to me as though it comes from the viewpoint of someone that doesn't normally play or review games to begin with.
the mentioning that he "played 15 hours of it"
really ? you didn't play the campaign through to end game?
...
Don't think anybody can argue with you there
not only are they unfinished,
but in some cases their feature sets and progression,
literally, where the game is going to go/ what the endgame is, aren't even close to being locked down or finalized.
(don't know if that's always bad)
but it seems like building the basic World structure,
and premise to a game, often passes for building a complete game...
and nothin...
As someone who really likes the game, I wouldn't say that it's trash...
but, I think perception is going to be based on the amount of time playing it...
it certainly, without question, needs improvement.
That's what everybody said about Destiny 2.
and it's become 10 times the game it was, and is/was always to a certain degree, amazingly unique, and fun to play.
the same with the division,
and now we're looking at the division 2.
you can either make your voice heard in an intelligent way,
or you can stand there feeling Superior, call things garbage, and then later bitch about all the franchises and gaming genres that are slowly ...
There it is👍
me as well, I'm not going to boycott something, and hurt the people that worked hard on it,
just because they may be in a system structure that I don't like.
There is a lot to enjoy about the game, and obviously things about it that are going to get much better.
it all depends on your philosophy, I guess.
but I'm enjoying what I'm playing,
was confident they would do the patching and updates that ...
