I like the fact that they held back the sub-title. It would have given away to much about their plans for the game if they had reveled the entire title.
Well, We have a few retailers in my area that are doing Second and third wave preorders. I walked into a Frys Electronics and asked about it and they said they are expecting 2 more shipments between now and Christmas and, they are doing preorders for both shipments so as to manage the demand of the console.
They had 58 consoles and were sold out in 5 minutes
this smells of more of Nates backstory. And it smells GOOD
have people not really read this. The bricking issue has only been reported by winners of the Taco Bell contest "so far".
i smell a Halo FTP or should i say a MS Gold free to play title.
sadly there is no actual iPad version...yet
The survey would have been a bit more interesting if they had asked if price or features was deciding factor for their choice.
we have all seen people use it. the fact is they had to set up the console before they used it. which means they had to do the update first . As for everyone saying 500mb can't be the OS. why not? its a console not a PC. Think back to when and OS for a pc was on a CD or even split on 2 CDs. its very possible that what you are getting when you buy an XB1 is a box with the basic OS and then you have to install the remainder before being able to access the rest of the unit.
Actually most retailers are doing the one per customer sale. I know Frys electronics is doing that. Since they announced at the last minute that they were doing a midnight launch for the both consoles. The same goes for walmart.
One comment was made in this article that should have stopped the whole analysis in its tracks. The Services are not live yet.
That being said, its not just the services that are offered that make the differences but also the UI and the ease of access.
The key fact here is that they legally have no grounds for banning the user for publicizing a personally owned product. The main point here is he never signed a NDA (non disclosure agreement).
All i can say is that turn about is fair play. all we heard this gen from the 360 house was m-plats were far superior on there side. this coming gen it looks as if it will be reversed, if this is the case MS is taking it badly.
NDA can't save you once systems go live in the wild. I am in no way saying one system is better, i can't as i haven't tested either system yet.
While specs are important, i think the fact is that MS keeps touting we are the best, We have the best of everything. Yet they can't seem to hit 1080p native on a single launch title. This seems to contradict what they are trying to sell everyone on and after the really rocky start they have had for this coming generation its not helping. I hope they can pull it together before i pick up my XB1 in january.(i'm not rushing into this generation i am still kicking on my PS3. But i plan o...
And the Winner of this years "Most Expensive Universal Remote" goes to Microsoft and there X Bone.. oops I mean XB1
the article calmly calls Activision out on their claim by showing the distinction between the GTAV and CoD numbers.
its likely that Activision pushed this information to satisfy stockholders and to maintain stock values.
got mine a little while ago
actually, sony always provides alternative methods to download system patches and updates.
I hope they find success with their cloud before it evaporates.
The problem i am seeing with the cloud is that it pretty much guarantees that XB1 gamers will be required to have the always on feature to take advantage of the full potential of a game.
so you can fully expect all the previous policies that MS dumped in regards to system check-ins to be reversed again.
just to clarify the crap being slung about beating GTA5 here is the Guiness books page on the records broken.

also key words used were "grossing" which typically represents per piece sales.
with a lot of emphasis being on social interaction and gaming. I am curious about how the built in browser handles.
