That was the first thing that entered my head as soon as I saw the title.
Really because MW2 was a broken mess. Black Ops was the best one since COD4. It had it's problems but it was nowhere near as unbalanced and one sided as MW2.
Hopsin is all I really listen to from the US now. The way RnB just died and became euro pop is disgusting too.
Black Ops pissed on MW2's multiplayer.
The first two were amazing games. After that I lost interest. I don't think it suited 3rd person as much although I'm glad they did try with all the FPS we have now days.
Split Second was amazing compared to Blur.
I've just picked up Tomb Raider Trilogy for the PS3 to fill the gap until Uncharted comes and it's not as bad as I thought they would be.
This is as bad as the moaning that was being done when they showed the new Tomb Raider footage at E3. It makes it much better when people are speaking to each other or gasps for air of they are hurt. Imagine Uncharted without the banter that happens whilst playing...
I'm sure every game dev would want their games sold at RRP but it ain't right that high street outlets can pretty much put whatever price they like to sell the game yet when it comes to digital they pretty much demand Sony to sell it at RRP even though we get less for our money.
and this is why I think Digital Distrubution won't take off any time soon on consoles. Steam/Valve do it the right way, MS and Sony choose to fob us off more often than not, well to us European gamer's anyway.
I'm from the UK and nope, my PS3 is not getting battered. What the hell are you doing to yours?
You must live in the country side or some little pointless city that no ones heard of lol. All I see on the high street is hot woman everywhere and 'rudeboys' thinking their it.
@MintBerryCrush
I don't know if you we're aware but MGS1 was remade on the Gamecube with the MGS2 engine. It wouldn't of hurt to try and get that on it.
Us UK gamers always get shafted though do we not? Especially with the prices of COD. It Activision for starters. We're looking at more £5-£6 a month which is about £72 for 12 months.
I'd much rather pay £33 a year for 3 map packs at £11 than pay a monthly fee for some pages full of statistics.
While I agree mostly some of these need a rethink.
Quick scoping needs to be addressed. I admit its a good skill for those that can pull it off but when the shot ain't even lined up and sometimes the person not even fully in the scope and it kills you, you feel cheated 9 times out of ten.
Shotguns should never be secondary weapons. Look at the uproar there was in MW2. It was too unbalanced (something IW is quite good at it seems), some people could snipe ...
It looks nothing like L4D lol? It was more like Fallout mixed with a little bit of Borderlands with a zombie theme and while I love L4D it game was never about it's graphics, this looks vastly Superior.
I was surprised by the footage though, it seems like a mature zombie game, not a mindless shoot anything that moves game which I kind of expect when it comes to zombie games these days.
I don't get why people moan so much about in game advertising. As long as it's done in a way that fits the game I don't see what's the problem.
Split Second says otherwise.
I've always looked forward to Treyarch's COD games more than IW but now the next MW is being handled by other developers I'm semi optimistic that we may see some worthwhile changes, I'm not holding my breath though.
I was just playing Dirt3 and Hitman Blood Money and there was noticeable controller to screen movement for me. It did glitch out once or twice but otherwise all was good. I can see this type of thing taking off if MS or Sony get into the streaming side of things.
