Naughty Dog are easily my favourite developers of all time but this could be the first game from them a skeptical about. Not that I think it won't be a masterpiece but I'm not the biggest fan of sci-fi.
Then again I was getting bored of the post apocalyptic setting in games but they made it something breathtaking with The Last of Us. I look forward to see how it pans out.
How about they fix the single player with missions not appearing? The amount of people I know who's not been able to complete the single player is a joke really.
I understand multiplayer will have hiccups but not single player.
Split Second was one of the most unique racing games of this gen but it flopped :( I'd love to see a second game but its never going to happen :(
I myself prefer liner stories with epic set pieces. I love open world games too but sometimes I become so lost in them with side missions, multiplayer and general larking about that I sometimes forget what the story even is to the point where I want to start the whole game again.
Is it just me or does it seem they've done this knowing most people would of turned the kinect off completely if the console had came with a mic?

After this year, everything will be usual business at E3. You can't really blame Sony or MS for holding their own events this year to show what their next consoles are capable of before E3. I highly doubt Sony or MS will host their events annually from now on. They just need to get their foot out the door and start generating that buzz then hit us with details we weren't told about at their E3 conference.

Fair play it looks a lot better than I was expecting but in still baffled why this is called Far Cry in any way shape or form. Far Cry 3 was one of my fave games of last year but this just seems to be using the name to push sales.

Battlefield 3 added, maps, modes, guns, vehicles, new ways to play and people are worried about BF4? There's so many possibilitys BF could go with future games.
BF is in no downward spiral either? It looked bleak at first with Op metro being un-BF-like but the final game was awesome minus the co-op.
There's a lot to take into concidaration. There may be 140 million console out there but how many are replacements? How many consoles are in the same household? More consoles in one household could mean less sales of games. How many consoles were shipped to the casual Kinect and Move crowd? How many kids own consoles who can't afford games and only get COD and FIFA for Christmas every year? So on and so on...
They won't can it. Everyone who's played it pretty much said its awesome. Those sales figures are nothing to complain about either. They are pretty impressive for a game that's only been out for a couple of weeks.
While I don't dislike the Wii U, there are just a lack of good games for system that I can't already play on my PS3/360.
You can't think its just Nintendo getting hammered by negative press either. The Amount of PS3 doom and gloom articles that have appeared here over the years way surpass anything the Wii U. Even hours after the PS4 reveal we had hate articles.

You sound like one of them guys who just rushed through it for the story instead if looking around. Yes the story takes a liner path but there's side quests, treasure, hidden tombs and places to go which we're previously unavailable because you didn't have the right equipment, hence why they give you a fast travel option.
Riiiight, so it was a waste for the PS3 to have an HDMi port on it because HD weren't mainstream at the time of the PS3's release? It called being future proof.
Higher res TV's not as big a jump as 4K tvs might come to the market and become mainstream. No one really knows what will and won't take off to the public.
You do know you can stop the echo right?
Off the top of my head: Go Into settings > accessory settings > go to the mic section and when you select the PS camera it should come up with the option to press square or triangle for some options for stopping the echo.
It basically asks you to put the camera next your TV, turn the volume up loud and it plays a really high frequency that stops the echo.

FF8 was the only FF I've ever finished. I would of completed 7 but the amount of times my file got corrupt back on the PSone made me give up.
I wondered this but then I looked at the ratings and some of them are in the thousands and you can't rate a title if you ain't played it.

All these reports on violence being blamed on games is really starting to grate on me. Some of these reports go on as if violence and shooting people has only been happening since video games came about which is simply not true. Things were either just as bad then or in some cases worse.

No it really ain't that bad. It's one of the best arcade racers in ages, something a lot of reviews seem to say. Poor attempt for hits...
