Pretty disappointing compared to the Uncharted 2 and 3 dynamic themes on the PS3.
The gameplay needs tinkering though. The core mechanics were there but the bajillion bugs, and poor frame rate (I had it on PS3 which I know was a bad port) made it not very fun for myself personally. I never under stood how if I was shoot enemies in the head played like a traditional FPS it would do no damage or very little, but when you go into the VAT system or whatever it was called, their heads would explode all over the place.
Skyrim was a much better game and felt a lo...
Give it another go. Season 2 was by far the most boring of all. It was good to learn about the characters but they put much emphasis on it in season 2. I think they balanced story and action after that.
I don't think it does need matchmaking, at least for trails and raids. Imagine all the new players trying a raid for the first time, dying 50 times, no good weapons and armour and rage Quiting. All it would do is infuriate the players who do know what they're doing.
What I think they should do is incorporate something that PS Home had. While I barley used it, you could add statuses under your PSN name/avatar name like 'looking to play 'insert game'' e...
As much as some of the themes are pretty rubbish on the U.S. Store, you should feel lucky you get as many as you do. The UK store still has next to none. I think at most we have about 15, most of them being static images.
There's still plenty of ways for the story to go in TLoU. sequel or prequel there's so many stories that could be told.
It baffles me that people think that at the end of the game Joel and Ellie go to that village/town and live happily ever after... If anything could of happened there and if anything they've left the story wide open for a sequel. I don't think it's the last we've seen of TLoU.
Apparently it's a memory problem held back from the last gen consoles. I can't see why they just can't let items such as special ammo synths, materials etc, stack to a maximum of 999 or something instead of having nearly 10 (for me) inventory slots of special ammo in stacks of 20...
Surly it would take up less memory to have one image of an item with '274' (for instance) next to it than to have multiple images of the same item all having a max number next to ...
That will be a huge blow to Nintendo here in the UK. I'm not sure about games consoles themselves but most game sales are made in grocery stores like Tesco and Asda.
Far Cry 3's campaign was amazing! Far Cry 4 not so much but I think that was more my dislike of the setting. Far Cry 2 was boring IMO but I found the actual setting of FC2 the most Intresting.
And what's wrong with a 7? You've missed out on a whole heap of good games if you mean that a score of 7 means it's not very good.
The last NFS was good, but it was just more of the same. I think that's why people are burned out on it.
I think this gen is set for sims but I want more arcade racers like Split Second. That game was incredible yet next to no one played it. Sad times.
Of all the things Destiny did wrong with the story and lack of content, you have to give them credit for the polish it had. Yes it's had minor bugs but nothing in comparison to some of the huge bugs, some even game breaking bugs that we've had in recent years.
I can't wait to play HoW's tomorrow. After a few months break from it and giving it a whirl yesterday, I'm ready to dive back into it.
I've been on all day here in the UK and it's been fine as ever.
Admittedly I haven't played it myself but I was watching a stream on it yesterday and I couldn't help think that the hype has gone to people's heads. It didn't look all that fun.
Ubisoft has had a rough start this generation but last generation the produced and published some incredible games. We shouldn't play them off because of their rough start of this gen.
Blur and Split Second were both amazing games which failed commercially. Shame really. Split second might of been my fave racer after burnout paradise last gen.
Why can't all PC gamers be as humble as you!
I loved MGO2 but it was way to easy to get headshots. Made getting killed cheap sometimes. I loved some of the unique modes too. Here's hoping there's no Konami ID system.
I was terrified too when I bought not having played any of the Souls series and when I continuously got killed by the first boss and debated trading it in for MKX but eventually after the millionth time I beat him and since then the game becomes a hell of a lot easier. I haven't struggled with a boss since him and if I did find myself getting slaughtered or inpatient with a boss, you have the option to use the beckoning bell for a helping hand.
I think I'm now nearin...
Once again us UK players get shafted on digital pricing. It's exactly why I refuse to accept digital only when the prices for new games are £50-£65 on the UK PS Store. I can walk in a shop and get it nearly £20 cheaper. Apart from America, a digital only future could have quite a large impact on game sales as the industry as a whole until pricing is fair for the rest of the world.
