Bloodborne, Dying Light, Life is Strange... Then again I can't say I care much about GOTY anymore after Fallout 3 won it.
What absolute rubbish. It's still in beta and still a lot more polished than full retail games. I haven't liked a CoD game since BO2 but this brings it back to the good old days which even I was surprised about tbh.
Exotics are upgradable in TTK and it's only the Wolfpack rounds being nerfed. It will still be a great option for crucible and non Taken King related missions.
Mafia 3 sounds good but it has no chance in taking down GTA let be real. it might be a good alternative although they'd have to do a hell of a lot of work to get near GTA's level. Mafia 2 was an good game but in no way comparitable to GTA5 or the not so good GTA4.
This, Bloodborne and Life is Stange are my highlights of this year. It's a shame a game like Fallout 4 will win GOTY.
Thank you for clearing that up. I was honestly ready to go on a dismantling spree.
I'm not sure. they did say they don't want people just sticking with the same old guns from year one. I may of just heard what MoreConsole and DPJ meant wrongly though. I always watch YouTube before bed and half asleep lol
So now they sell it when Bungie have openly said that year one weapons won't hold up that well and won't be upgradable to TTKs damage level. Apparently green and blue drops in TTK will be stronger than year one exotics!
The problem is is that rocket leauge is cross play between PC and PS4...
I thought this type of 'news' weren't allowed on N4G? How did this even get passed?
Rainbow Six is going to be the game for you judging from this comment. It's a lot slower than COD but it's so much more rewarding killing someone than in COD (except maybe SnD) as once they are dead they are out for the round in the modes try hvae shown so far.
I still do like COD as much as Ive hated the last two, Treyarch has never let me down so far.
Not Q2 but let's not forget they had Dying Light too. WB have had a really good year apart from the Batman pass pricing.
It says it's the sequel on the main menu of the game lol!
Me too! I was getting a strong Freedom Fighters vibe from it. I really wish EA would revive that IP.
Yes destiny is a great game. No it's not perfect and has quite a lot of underlying issues of DLC greed and sub par story but the game is great and one of the best online coop games in AGES.
Great score. I have no idea why IGN marked it so low when this episode was great compared to the last two, not that they weren't good as well but this episode was great and that ending!
Enslaved was amazing frame rate issues aside but got panned pretty badly. It was around that time I stopped buying games soley on review scores.
The map edidor looked basic at best too. Time splitters map editor is still one of the best in game map editors even today on consoles. So advanced for its time really.
I'm with you. It's a beautiful looking game but you're just dumped in a game, dead body in front of you and nothing to go on. You just aimlessly walk whilst the character you play talks a load of stuff about Ethan that you have no idea about. It's my first regret purchase of this generation tbh.
Games do hold our hands to much these days but having no idea what you're supposed to be doing at all is just plain lazy game development IMO.
I've played nearly all the main FF games since six but the only one I ever finished was FF8. I tried many times to complete FF7 but my data would always get corrupt because I used them free memory cards you used to get free with magazine back in the day which were pretty rubbish but as a kid that all I could get hold of lol.
Back on topic though I wouldn't say it was the best but I was more attached to it than any other FF game in the series.
