Wow, those guys must be getting it hard.

Valve already made it known (through their stats collection) that disguises were losing their effectiveness given the experience of the playing field. And for that reason, I'm surprised they've announced an anti-spy unlock.

GamesTM isn't a no-name publication. Imagine Publishing have been around for years, they're the only competition to Future Publishing in the UK.

And IGN is lamentable. Sure they've gotten better, but it's taken them till 2008 to actually start using scores below 8. Although they now churn out three reviews to triple their metacritic weighting.

Wouldn't be surprised if it was brought forward to beat Prototype to market.

Are you just stupid? Can you not see the logical parallels between a "no comment" on MGS4 for the 360, and a "no comment" here? It's not the most difficult analogy to grasp - if this "no comment" is suspicious, why wasn't that one?

You're also probably right about the article that I never read, and admitted to not reading. I tried to kill that point with my instant omission that it was TL;DR, but you keep on hammering that none point.

Unicron, I'm not discussing the merits or downfalls of exclusivity.

Just challenging your assertion that there's a lack of "b1tching" articles. There have been loads, same for Fallout 3.

TL;DR means, too long; didn't read. You really didn't have to point out the discrepancies, given that I didn't read it.

The only piece I've seriously read of yours was the one where you tried to manufacture a DRM controversy out of nothing, but only managed to show how utterly uninformed you were over Valve, DRM or Steam.

"no comment" has a LOT of potential meanings. - Well done Mr Obvious, time for more TL;DR. There's a gulf of infinite...

It's not "very suspicious". You count "no comment", the standard null response as very suspicious? Then again, every time Valve fail to comment on spurious nothings, you manage a TL;DR article on GameGazette.

I bet Rockstar would like to see their DLC appear on other platforms. So would Take Two. It would mean more money/sales/recognition for them.

I'm pretty sure their hands have been tied by Microsoft though. You generally don't put up $50m...

There have been loads of articles moaning about Microsoft paying for exclusive content, what kind of idiot blinders do you have on?

Given the success of MMOs, digital distribution services, and the ever expanding indie gaming scene, it's not like PC gaming needs any kind of defence.

Here's an example from Screenwipe, it also features the blokes from videoGaiden, who you've also probably failed to have heard of.

One of the sharpest gaming critics returns to the fold.

If you're unfamiliar with his work, check out his shows on Youtube - http://www.youtube.com/user...

His Guardian columns are worth a read too. They're a hell of a lot more telling and incisive than the dreck you get on GameTrailers and IGN.

Take Two still retain publishing rights for Duke Nukem Forever. Duke Nukem titles are still being developed for handheld platforms.

I'm pretty certain Duke Nukem Forever is still on. They're just asset stripping 3DRealms and fmucking the employees over - the management fmuckwads will probably profit tidily.

So 3DRealms runs out of money.

It'll close down, debts will be written off, and it'll sell off its assets to an investor who'll pick it up for cheap.

It'll then form a new company, and release DN4 without giving the developers any credit or royalties.

Those other games are held by Radar Group, a company founded by Scott Miller (of 3D Realms).

You'll see DN4 alive and well at a "new" studio which is 3DRealms in everything but the name.

I mean, surely, they're rollig around in money due to the Max Payne film, right? Then again, given Hollywood accounting, the film studios have probably magicked it so it made a massive loss.

I cannot believe that 4 driveby disagrees actually believe GFWLive to be better than Steam. It's fmucking incredulous.

I wish more firms would do this. Valve have shown it to be successful with Team Fortress 2 and Left 4 Dead, Epic have done similar things with Unreal Tournament 3.

When you release a free DLC pack, new players join the fold. When you release a purchase DLC pack, you're only selling to a tiny proportion of the market, and if it's a multiplayer game - you split your audience.

When a DLC map comes onto a server, half your players drop out, because they didn't think it...
