What exactly is "Strand genre"? As someone who hasn't played a Kojima game before (yep, I haven't played MGS) I don't really understand what this game is trying to achieve.
I mean I just watched the latest trailer and it does look intriguing. The story looks like it could be great, the battle elements look fun but how few and far between will these sections occur within that large open world?
Not going to lie I'm not usually in to first person games but Cyberpunk looks great.
I'd buy a FFXIII PS4 remaster. I enjoyed FFXIII enough to complete it twice, and FFXIII-2 wasn't bad either. I enjoyed the time travel elements and the whole Caius, Noel and Yuel storyline. Can't rate Lightning Returns as I never played it.
We can keep hoping!
I'm glad someone agrees. The ergonomics of the controller looked so smooth, the only thing was that the face buttons looked a bit off / wonky but that was a prototype and with some tweaking I think it would have made a great controller.
Am I the only one that would like a Boomerang style controller from the original PS3 concept?! If it released as a limited run special edition I'd be all over it haha.
Six Axis - feeling nothing playing MotorStorm.
The Next Box will need to have "timed" Game Pass exclusives if they want to shift consoles. I mean if someone has a PC and can play first party Microsoft games without even needing to purchase a console then that kind of defeats the point of even releasing a new platform, doesn't it?
I work in retail and I wholeheartedly agree.
I'm not a huge fan of FFVIII but it has a fantastic musical score. Love this boss theme and it's a great recreation.
I'm thinking that this is directly linked to Sony's plans for their Communities feature. The Facebook formula would work well - communities are bland at the moment and it would be a nice feature to have on PS5.
Cheers. I'll be keeping an eye out for it in a sale. In the mean time I'll be replaying a few things.
I'm looking forward to getting around to buying Control. At the moment finances say no.
I've got the game but only because it came with my PSVR when I got it a couple years ago. I've never been in to GT so I fired it up for a few minutes but never went back to it. I've always found sim racers a bit dull in comparison to arcade racers such as Burnout. DriveClub was a great game too, it was still arcadey enough for me to enjoy. I might give GT Sport another go and see if I can properly get in to the mechanics (never really tried before).
Motor Storm was a fantastic game. It's a shame that Evolution studios was shut down - Sony put too much pressure on them at launch. The whole Drive Club / PS+ version was a farce and the online infrastructure was broke but once it was fixed it was fantastic. With everything they learnt from making Drive Club I'm sure Motor Storm on PS4 could have been amazing.
Speak for yourself. I personally can't wait, the game looks amazing. The original FFVII will always be the original, there's no taking away from that, but there's so much potential to flesh it out further with the Remake / reimagining.
Ha, yeah.
Still, it would be nice to see what they could achieve if they do release the engine.
I'm still hopeful that Agnis Philosophy from a while back is in the works. Final Fantasy VII Remake is Square Enix' focus but FFXV has been out for ages, XVI must surely be in development. I wouldn't be surprised if it was announced at next years TGS for a 2021/2022 release to fill the gap before part 2 of the FFVII Remake.
I've only played a small portion of Yakuza 0 and none of the others.
Thank you to everyone for your replies. You've all piqued my interest in this game a bit more!
