I've got three PM's from separate accounts, all saying "Is this your profile?", or something along those lines. Of course I haven't opened the links but I will report them.

If FFXV is anything to go by then I expect the main scenario will be pretty short compared to older FF titles, but all we can do is wait and see. Either way, I can't wait.

I've shocked myself by going digital for this game to be honest, however there was so much uncertainty about whether the physical copy would ship in time to the UK due to the virus that shalt not be named.Plus in the UK Friday the 10th is Good Friday - a public holiday, so no postal services. I couldn't risk it! Plus the game is going to be installed forever on my PS4 HDD & I'll be carrying it over to PS5, too (eventually).

Yeah, £60 for the base game is very expensive. I expect most of the digital sales will come from the digital deluxe though, as it's only £15 more. From a business perspective it's a clever (and crafty) move, but hey - if working in retail has taught me anything it's upsell, upsell, upsell.

I'm looking forward to this. I never got around to Nier Replicant on PS3. Automata introduced me to the series and I loved it. Fingers crossed the Drakengard games get the same treatment because I understand they're part of the universe too and, again, I missed those.

I cancelled my physical edition from ShopTo. Opted for the digital deluxe. I'm off on Good Friday and I *need* to play it.

Sorry. I did overreact a bit. I just don't understand why some people aren't taking this seriously.

Sometimes you just don't know though, until you play the game. You might find that you can't get in to the gameplay, the story bores you, the game is too long and you don't have enough time to fully immerse etc. There are many different reasons why someone might not finish a game.

FFVII REMAKE FFVII REMAKE FFVII REMAKE.

After that I'll be getting Resident Evil 3 Remake, that's before I even think about The Last of Us 2. I won't be getting either at launch though as I've only just started Control and I want to get through that before I replay The Last of Us before 2. I've also got The Witcher III & Persona 5 to get through and I've barely started either. PS4 will do me just fine in 2020.

You'd have to be deluded not to see this coming. Literally, deluded. The world is pretty much on lock down. Global markets are crashing, people are dying left, right and centre and nobody knows how long it could last. Releasing the PS5 & new Xboxs in 2020 won't benefit Sony or Microsoft.

A)

1. Whilst I'm not against top # completely they're hugely subjective and don't really bring anything to the table.

2. I joined this site 14 years ago, when the three Final Fantasy XIII games got announced. Actual game news got me here, not a random article written by someone's auntie who has an opinion about the PS5 looking like a fried egg.

B)

Probably a mixture of all of these.

Me too. I've been craving a play through for so long but I no longer have the game. I've got XIII-2 still but no PS3! I never did get around to Lightning Returns though. Fingers crossed the Trilogy makes its way to PS4 or 5.

Midgar in the original Final Fantasy VII is at max takes 5 hours.

Now think of all the characters that are in this section of the game in the Remake. Fully voiced with more character depth, new scenarios, new characters, side quests etc I mean. This is a huge project. There are going to be so many cutscenes too and I can't wait.

You're welcome! Glad I could help.

As LivingLegacy states, potions are your friend. There are plenty available at your disposal. Just be sure you're not in the line of fire when you use them or else you won't feel the benefits.

The important thing is not to rush. Take time to study the boss and work out its patterns. It physically tells you what attack its about to do, so if you see it about to fire missiles keep blocking until the onslaught is over. Red target on your character? Block. AoE attack? ...

Part 1 *is* a full experience, just not the full experience that you want it to be personally. Part 1 should at least be as long as Final Fantasy XV, but all crammed in to Midgar. The Watchemen? They're new. Roche? He's a new character. Sephiroth? Yeah, he's in this first part. Materia system? Fully expanded. Side quests? Yep, all here. It's a full FF game in it's own right, just as FFXIII, XIII-2 & Lightning Returns were except that people actually asked for VII.

I agree with you completely, apart from that there are 9 playable characters, not 7 :)

It's a shame that Red XIII isn't playable in part 1, but it's completely understandable based on his positioning in the original game and where part 1 of the the Remake is ending. He'll get his time to shine in Part 2.

I'm intrigued to see how Yuffie will play in the Remake and Cid will make an awesome Dragoon-like.

Have either of you guys played FFXV Episode Ardyn DLC? If not I'd recommend to at least watch a playthrough on YouTube. Random battles work really well in this DLC. VIIR could borrow from this.

I've got a PS4. It's my only console and I don't have a PC. I'd like one one day because it would generally come in handy, and I'd be able to access Steam etc that I've never been able to access before. The thing that put me off PC gaming was keyboard and mouse but I guess it's different these days where you can just use a controller instead.

I don't think the PS5 will do too well at launch. When the PS3 got announced at £425 there was uproar. PS5 sounds like it's packed full of technology, it's not going to be as cheap as the £350 PS4 launch price.
