I agree. Final Fantasy VII will always be Final Fantasy VII - the original will always be a masterpiece in it's own right. FFVII was my first Final Fantasy game and from what I've seen I'm all for the remake. Can't wait to play it, really hoping for a PSN demo of the Guard Scorion boss fight before it releases.
*SPOILERS*
To me it doesn't look like Cloud meets Sephiroth in this scene. Looks like some sort of flashback, as when he goes to attack Sephiroth he dissappears in to a mist. Much like the mist that swirls around Cloud and Aerith during their updated meeting scene.
I just gone done watching the trailer and I've got to say it looks impressive. I'm not one for first person games but I'll definitely be checking this one out after I've played the hell out of FF7R.
No, levelling in FFVIII is different in the sense that monsters level up with you. I think that's what Joker was referring to.
I've just preordered the Deluxe Edition. FF7R looks incredible and I'm really impressed with the cinematics and battle system. Great mixture of old and new. I'm glad to see the stagger mechanics from FFXIII making a return as well.
I've only played two Tales games: Graces f and Xillia. I've yet to play any of the Tales games that have been released on PS4, but I've been meaning to get around to Vesperia. It'll be interesting to see the trailer for Arise.
If I were to buy a Switch it would be for this game.
Amazing haha, used to love this show as a kid.
"Oooh, what does THIS button do?"
"DEE DEE NOOOOOO!"
Ah, it used to be such an easy life.
I can't say I've played a huge amount of PSVR games, however out of the ones that I've tried only Wipeout VR and Here They Lie have given me any kind of motion sickness. The twists and turns of Wipeout are much more bearable when you fix the camera to the cockpit.
Before I got my PSVR I had never experienced any kind of VR, so I was pretty amazed when I put on the headset for the first time. To be honest though I don't use it much - if it was wireless I'd use it more. However tripping over wires kind of breaks the immersion, especially when playing games like Super Hot VR. VR is still in it's infancy really and I'm really looking to see where it can go in the future and I'll definitely support the PSVR2*
*When it ...
I don't think they'd skip E3 if they didn't have some big plans of their own, but we'll have to wait and see. Who knows, maybe after the recent announcement Microsoft will also show up to PlayStation experience 😂
My copy has just been dispatched, looking forward to giving it a go.
There's no doubt about that, but when I play Dreams for the first time it will be on a shiny new PS5 console attached to a shiny new 4k set.
I'm going to hold off on Dreams. I'll wait until PS5 comes out and get it as one of my first games so I have a ton of games to play. Smartest decision I've had for quite some time, to be honest.
Final Fantasy VII Remake has basically been teased by Square Enix since 2005. That technical demo for PS3 at E3 hyped the crowd up so much but then came "TECHNICAL DEMO" and dreams went out the window.
Jesus, that's 14 years for basically an announcement of an announcement of an announcement.
PLEASE BE EXCITED.
To me probably nothing. I mean that in the sense that I've got an original PS4 with a standard 1080p TV. I won't be upgrading to to a 4KTV until the PS5 gets a firm release date so I certainly won't be upgrading to an 8KTV within the PS5's life span. Looking forward to experiencing 4K gaming for the first time!
Also I can't wait to see Cait Siths ride on Mog and The Golden Saucer! I don't think we'll be seeing that anytime soon though as that likely won't feature in the first episode.
I'm thinking that Tifa will remain faithful to her original design in the outfit sense, but she'll have the build of her Advent Children model (not as top heavy).
Yeah, he also looks a lot more "hard faced" in the 2015 trailer. I like his gentler looking approach.
Yep, it's obvious. I can't wait. If the Final Fantasy VII Remake looks this good on PS4 then imagine how good it's going to look on PS5. Has there been any confirmation if the recent footage was captured on an original PS4 or a PS4 Pro?
