Game Pass seems like such great value, it's why I've preordered the Series S. Yes, S. Don't judge! *Series S stock available*
In the UK we face a price hike with every generation. I thought prices for new games here were high enough (usually a minimum of £50), but new games are going to cost £70 for next gen.
I'm hoping for a PS5 bundle for games like RE8, Horizon, God of War Ragnarok or even FFXVI, that will at least reduce the cost of purchasing a £450 console with a £70 game. Fingers crossed for some good deals next Christmas because that's when I'll be looking t...
I'll be jumping on Game Pass when I've got a Series S. I'm looking forward to playing Alan Wake and Forza Horizon 4. I've never owned an Xbox so there are a lot of games that I'd like to try that I missed from only ever owning a PlayStation.
Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoooottttt.
Bloody love this, not gonna lie!
They even announced that games that are played via backwards compatability will be enhanced with "auto HDR". So I'm sure this cable will do what it's meant to do.
I'm going to pick this up when I get a Series S. Absolutely loved the game as a kid. It brings back memories of happy (and simpler) times. This game is going to sell well for a long time, I think. The game is pretty timeless, in many ways.
I owned an Xbox One before Game Pass was a thing. I couldn't wait for Rise of the Tomb Raider to release on PS4, and I really wanted to play Quantum Break. But after that there wasn't really anything else I wanted, so I sold it. However for £249 I can't say no, and I'm looking forward to playing some games that I missed out on in the 360 era. Also can't wait to buy SSX 3 for a tenner and play the hell out of it because I so miss it from PS2.
I really want a Series S. I was planning on getting a PS5 but if the Series S is £249 and the Series X is £449 then I expect the PS5 Digital to get priced between £350-£400 and the standard console for also around the £449 mark, and I definitely want the standard not digital.
Dirt 5 is the first racing game I've been interested in for a long time. Looks like a lot of fun. However, I won't be picking the game up at launch.
Ah, I forgot about Shopto! I'll head over now, thanks.
I registered my interest with them earlier. I've also registered interest with GAME (I know, I know, but needs must), Argos & Amazon.
I'm really intrigued by the DualSense. Can't wait to play a game with it for the first time & I'm hoping & praying that there's a PS5 version of Lumines on its way.
Yeah, gaming is becoming expensive, especially for those of us that might be struggling a bit financially. I'm trying to put next gen out of my mind for a bit as everyone's getting hyped with no idea of any final costs.
Personally I'm intrigued to see what Microsoft has up their sleeves. PS5 will be my next gen console of choice, but I'm toying with the idea about getting an Xbox One X for BC & Game Pass.
I played the first Assassin's Creed game, but never the second so I can't make the comparison. I get where you're coming from though so if I did try out Watch Dogs I'll start with 2.
Have you played them both?
Thank you for the reply. From what I'm getting from the comments the second game is the way to go.
Thank you, the second game seems like a good starting point. I'll have to check it out at some point to get a feel for it myself.
I haven't played any of the Watch Dog games. I remember being really excited for the original but once it got delayed I never got around to it. What are everyone's thoughts on the first two games?
I'd never heard of this game, or even Quantic Dream, back when I had a PS2. I bloody loved Heavy Rain on PS3, so I was intrigued to try Faranheit when they released it on PS4. I wasn't too impressed with it. Started with a lot of potential but the story just got...weird. With that said it was great to see how far the studio has progressed since. Beyond: Two Souls was another iffy game for me, but Detroit is where it's at. I'm really looking forward to seeing what QD bring to t...
