Why not hiring for a new game?

In fact, it seems more like a new game.

then it will also be on PS3. An MMO has to be on PC, Xbox 360, PS3, and as many platforms as possible to be viable.

Right now it's retailers fighting among themselves to sell cheap HD DVD players and compete with each other.

I still like the Circuit City deal, though. The 5 free HD DVD deal is good, with Transformers, or The Matrix Trilogy, or The Bourne Trilogy. In a few months HD DVD will get exclusive Beowulf and Iron Man from Paramount too! But personally I'm looking forward to Stardust the most!

Do you remember a while ago when the Chinese government officially selected the HD DVD-based/compatible format (they call it "CH DVD", Chinese HD DVD, LOL) as their national format, and then all the analysts predicted the prices of HD DVD players would drop like crazy because then China could mass produce CH DVD players and components that could easily be converted to HD DVD players for export?

Well, the effect has started to kick in.

The problem with user reviews is that too many anonymous are voting against consoles they don't like and for consoles they favor.

Here's a good examples: Mass Effect is not even out yet, but Metacritic is already filled with user reviews that say "this game sucks" or whatever, and the game at one point had a user score of 7.6 when it had about 15 user reviews. Obviously Sony fanboys had been voting against Mass Effect because it was a 360 exclusive.

JupiterResearch is owned by MCG Capital Corp, which is a private equity firm. Look up MCGC.

That's like saying people wouldn't buy a Blu-ray player because they can't watch Transformers or the Bourne or Matrix trilogy on it. You deliberately left out the fact that people can buy the $198 Toshiba HD DVD player and still be able to watch Disney movies or Spidey or Pirates or whatever - ON DVD. Upscaled.

$199 has always been the tipping point for any price war. $199 has always been the consumers' "sweet spot" for electronic gadgets.

And I coul...

And nowadays a HDTV can cost as little as US$300.

That's how most families do their budgeting when buying new items. Let say they decide they want to upgrade to hi-def, and they are still concern with prices (of course they are -- most people are.) If they buy a HDTV (let say $500) + Blu-ray player ($400), that'll cost them close to $1000. If they buy a HDTV ($500) + HD-DVD player ($200), that'll save them $200. And a $200 saving does mean something to a lot of people.

I think he's freaking out... which is what Sony and the Blu-ray camp are likely doing right now.

SNE's game division's losses have doubled since March compared to Q1 + Q2 last year, and SNE said that PS3 would likely miss the sale target of 11 mil units for this fiscal year ending March, and the game devision would "try" to become profitable for the 2008/2009 fiscal year.

While at the same time, MSFT EDD becomes profitable for the first time. Xbox 360 and Halo 3 have just put MSFT back onto Goldman Sachs' "elite" list of company-to-buy. MSFT is getting ...

Xbox has just put Microsoft back onto Goldman Sach's "elite" list of company-to-buy. Halo is giving MSFT GOOG-like results for the first time in 8 years. MSFT had not been a growth stock for a long, long time. Now Xbox and Halo are putting MSFT into another growth cycle.

Basically, Xbox 360 and Halo 3 are now driving the growth of MSFT... why would MSFT want to give up on that?

Weinstein's films usually come out during Fall and Winter, during the Oscar season. So Weinstein is "MIA" because they really currently don't have any "action".

It's BLOOMBERG.

And Microsoft's revenues/profits have always been more than Sony. That's why people say Microsoft grows money on tree.

A day ago you yourself admitted that you would approve anything I report or report anything I approve - just out of spite. And you turned in a submission just to throw a hissy: http://www.n4g.com/NewsPend...

Why would anyone here take you seriously?

This review came out just 4 days ago. You deliberately and fraudulently reported this as 22 days old.

Another Project Gotham Review was approved right after this one: http://www.n4g.com/xbox360/...

and ATLRoAcH, who approved that later review, has admitted that he made a mistake and did not bother checking the date when he made his report for an earlier review:
