He actually made that statement at a stockholder conference - to the company's board and stockholders as part of his financial report and forecast.
So he's not making a PR statement to the media or press or anything like that.
I didn't say anything about Sony customer business service. I was referring to their business attitude and practices.
Anyway, Sony has done a lot of unsavory things -- planting spyware in their music CDs, inventing fake critics ("David Manning") to give positive reviews to their own movies and games, forming an oligopolistic cartel with other movie studios to try to limit consumer choices and force consumer to adopt a more expensive format, frequently making comments...
Mostly with their intolerably arrogant jackass attitude and despicable business practices.
But this thread is not about Sony or PS3. Just be assured that you'll see plenty of not-so-flattering submissions about Sony from me in the future.
As a customer, do you think Microsoft's customer service is acceptable? Do you want to see it improve?
Microsoft has announced that it would extend warranty and fixed broken Xbox 360's. However, Microsoft treats you like sh!t and makes you go through a lot of PAINS AND SUFFERING when they make you wait a long time to fix your console. The warranty extension is nothing more than a PR stunt if Microsoft does not honor their warranty with courtesy and respect to customers.
The main point here is: the player now opens the door for them to buy HD DVDs in the future.
and PS3 doesn't usually sold more than 30k units in a week in North America.
I warned people about approving "Devs Problems: Games use 30% Sony PS3’s Power & 60% Xbox 360’s" for the exact same reason -- it's just comments and opinions, but all the PS3 fanboys would not listen and were in a rush to approve it because it was bashing Xbox 360.
So now the table has turned, and look at all the pathetic worms who are whining about it.
Let this be a warning: if you don't want anything from that site to get posted, then don't even...
That means from now on for sale numbers, we will have to depend on only...
VG Chartz!
This is the funniest sh!t I've read in here!
He must really love Homeworld!
Entirely different comments made by the same person.
In the earlier story, Noonan's comments were:
"As far as whether this is an iron-clad situation, we are a smart company and evaluate all of our strategies on an ongoing basis. It won't be any different in this case. We have not altered our decision to be in both formats." -- completely different comments from this one.
Here's the earlier story: http://www.thefreedictionar...
as opposed to:
mis`con`struct´

There isn't any clip of Lair in the ad!
They are acted and voiced by virtual actors in the game.
The BioWare writer says the dialogue in Mass Effect is the equivalent of of 15 to 20 movie screenplays. An average movie is 2 hour long. Mass Effect is 30 to 40 hour long - which is the equivalent of 15 to 20 movies.
Let's look at the last generation. PS2 have sold 120 million units. Dedicated DVD players have sold over 1 billion units.
There are many, many times more people who watch DVDs at home than people who play PlayStation games.
That's why Toshiba keeps saying in the long run, how many units PS3 can sell is not going to matter. Because dedicated hi-def disc player will outsell PS3 in the long run.
Well, if you count how many time prices drop in different countries and add them up "collectively", then Sony must have dropped the prices of PS3 over a dozen times this year.
Oh wait...
... this is my own submission.
Not all gamers want to buy a Blu-ray player.
And not all movie buffs want to buy a PlayStation 3.
That's the problem right there. $400 is asking many people to pay $200 for the other feature they don't really want.
so this will end up with either Microsoft putting a stop to it, or Microsoft wants a piece of it.
• "I think the game doesn't look as good without the grain effect." "I kinda like the grain effect." "I like it too." "I like it because it gives the whole 70s sci-fi feel." "And it goes with some of the music. That music totally sounds like it came straight out of the original Terminator. It got the cool 70s vibe to it, and there's the hot alien sex scene, which is totally straight out of the 70s sci-fi movie." (11:21-11:50)
