Sony has to pay a loyalty to Microsoft every time Sony sells a computer or laptop installed with Windows.
It will support Blu-ray again.
i.e., it will again support both formats.
Unless Paramount does not like money, it will have to support Blu-ray, and soon.
Now that Sony stops claiming that Blu-ray has won, it's the time when they have actually won.
and continues to claim that Sony's figures are sold to consumers while Microsoft's are sold to retailers, even though Sony THEMSELVES have just said confirmed to VG Chartz that their numbers are sold thru to retailers.
Wow, juicy.
It looks like both Microsoft and Toshiba had been Murdoch'd!
for 360 and PC (but not PS3). Command & Conquer 3. Battle of the Middle Earth.
for Wii. MySims. And a whole lot of other exclusive titles.
I'm just guessing here...
Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic III
Jade Empire II
MechWarriors V: Blood Rite (or Blood Right)
and StarCraft: Ghost (YES!), but exclusively on PC and Xbox 360 (or maybe a time exclusive, but a looong time exclusive)
Ultimate X (a RPG exclusively for PC and 360... from EA!)
... I don't know anything... I'm just guessing! Personally, I am kinda disappointed that they are al...
Microsoft did announce a bunch of things, but nothing that gamers would care about. The announcements are just some new deals with movie studios to bring movie and TV contents to XBL. That's all.
No new games. No new Xbox. No new Xbox upgrade. No new Xbox attachment. Nothing.
Xbox 360 is still a game console. Microsoft should just forget the movies and TV. Just bring on more games.
Just have to wait for the GDC (Game Developer Conference) ...
For FPS's, use a mouse and keyboard *ON THE PC*. Skip the PS3.
William Wallace LOST and DIED in the end.
Now this is getting foolish.
What makes you think CHINESE will "heart" a JAPANESE product?
Even the PS2 did not do well in China. In China, even the Wii (a Japanese product) is being outsold by the 360 (an American product). The Chinese people have an inherent hostility towards Japanese companies like Sony, and Chinese only buy Japanese products when there are no alternatives.
Microsoft could have taken advantage of the cultural bias in China to cement the market for their Xbox ...
Actually, I was the first one to report the other one that failed, because that submission picked out one line from a full-page article that'd been already submitted. This particular one is the specific report.
But if you want to fail it, just fail it.
HD DVD has already *LOST*. It's dead. There's no point of being in denial.
Just take it back and return it if it's purchased within 30 days.
Freaky sh!t.
Seems to me that it means BioWare is under no contractual/legal obligation to keep Mass Effect, i.e., including the first one, as an exclusive for long.
And I'm pissed with the Live problem. You should be too.
Nobody is getting anything free from Microsoft. That much I can tell you.
Wii will end up with over 150 million units.
Xbox 360 and PS3 will end up with about 30-50 million each, give or take. PS3 will *probably* pull ahead of Xbox 360, if Microsoft continues to fail to capture Euro market shares.
companies always put all sorts of unreasonable craps into product contracts to protect their own interests.
MOST of them are actually not enforceable in the court of law.
