I thought when articles got submitted and approved at N4G the title was supposed to be the REAL title from the source website: in this case that would be: Sony VP says PlayStation Network will be key PSP driver.
The focus of the article is that PSP will be getting ALOT more attention in 07/08 through integration with PS3 and PSN. Did you expect, when asked about DS, that we was going to say it sucked?

I expect this is the first of many SOE properties to move onto the PS3/HOME platform. SOE is actually providing the backbone to HOME so it made/makes sense that they would migrate new and existing SOE properties that way.

If touch screen was meant to be a good interface you wouldn't have seen all the other PDAs sized devices move AWAY from it. This is one product that I would definately avoid until they are on version 2 or 3.

Yes...you could do that with a Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse on a PS3 too. But, that isn't really the point of the article.
They have to start sometime. This will dovetail into PLAYSTATION Eye sales and HOME integration and due to the downloadable content and SingStore will have much longer legs than a 'normal' release. I think the buzz will be worth the lower initial sales due to install base.
Did you actually read the link? The are rumoured to be matching the price on a equivalent spec machine but there is a $399 HD DVD player out there and it is mentioned in the article.
