Has everyone forgotten that software ONLY BC was the ORIGINAL plan for the PS3 and that they scrambled to include the PS2 chips in order to get to market?
They've been working on software ONLY BC for well over 2 years and I think they will launch it after clearing out current 60/80 stock.
Just like they did with the 60 (creating a false sense of urgency to pick up a 60gb before they disappear) people on the fence will now jump at the 80gb before it disappears. ...
