Afcourse not. Its just that shes a female voicing a female lead in a big title so articles like this are bound to happen.
It all depends on what it is they mean by a lighter tone. If it translates into a videogame version of an 80s sitcom then yeah that would really suck.
As much as the open world outside of Skyhold was kinda empty and lifeless in Inquisition i still consider the combat to be the only thing that truly stood out to me as being fucking awful. That strange mix between strategy and action combat was so bad i almost rage quit on multiple occasions.
"with more focus on microtransactions"
ME1 was an rpg with shooter elements becouse no matter how you played it majority of your time would not be spend shooting things, it would be chatting to npcs, exploring, managing your inventory, reading etc. The original vision for Mass Effect was very, very clear from the start. What changed is around the time they started brainstorming ideas for the sequal COD4 came out and blew everything away sales wise. So the games after turned into corridor shooters.
I said it before and il...
You mean create problems so they can sell you overpriced peripherals that fix them?
"advance the industry"
By selling games on cartridges? Yeah maybe we should all just abandon Blu-ray and go back to VHS tapes, now thats where the future is!
I doubt they could do that in the time they had. Most likely itll just be the same game set in a different place and their marketing will fill in the blanks just like they did with the first.
You mean Shadow Realms? That game actually got cancelled, this is something else entirely.
Its like GFWL, as soon as that died it took with it hundreds of games. And considering how Denuvo actualy requires you to re-register your game every time you havent played it for a while this is exactly what i see happening.
Yeah we should all just stay ignorant and buy every game on blind faith instead of making informed decisions. Spending money then deciding wether it was a good idea at which point its already too late but hey who cares were all billionaires anyway, RIGHT?
The physics on vehicles were really disappointing. They showed gameplay before where you saw the bike sliding and everything yet in the game its just completely flat like the vehicles are glued to the ground or something. I wish more open world games would copy racing games like Forza or The Crew instead of that garbage Saints Row.
"synthesizers are not real instruments so any sound produced by them is not real music"
This is the equivalent of what youre arguing. As much as you think there is a strict definition of what a sport can or cannot be the truth is there isnt. If there is money in watching other people play videogames then it can be sport, or as in this case an "Esport".
Games 30 years ago didnt have difficulty settings. And "hard" modes today usually only break the game, they dont add any real mechanical complexity instead either give npc ridiculous amounts of HP or just give them god mode aim hacks.
Sheeeeeeeeit i would buy 2
Well yeah if you played through the game already its somewhat strange to see them release these side stories post launch as DLC. Its almost like they had a bunch of content that they cut but never got around to finish so now that the game is out and proved to be profitable they are scrambling for every little bit of cut content to maximize profits.
I was really expecting this to be so much more then other survival games considering how its made by Funcom by sadly that just isnt the case here.
"you can go anywhere and do anything"
Yeah, right...........
I think the game was only a disappointment story wise. What makes this news so painful though is how MD was clearly written with a sequal in mind.
Please do explain how exactly Horizon is so unique and innovative? Its a new IP sure but even if you are a PS fanboy i dont see how it would qualify as the most important game of 2017. We had plenty of open world games that let you run around killing big monsters while collecting loot, female protagonists arent something new either.
Why not just say its a game definitly worth keeping an eye on instead of throwing these meaningless terms around all based on some trailers?
Well thats the thing isnt it. Right now the Switch is not only more expensive then anything else on the market but barely has anything to offer. The console doesnt even come with any games.
Considering the rough amount of consoles sold as of 2016 there are literally tens of millions of people out there who dont own either a Xbox or PS4 yet, why the hell would any of them buy a Switch? At the same time Nintendo cant possibly compete with smartphones either becouse of its size, price a...
