Most of these games are very old and scattered around mutliple platforms. Not to mention titles like Xenoblade chronicles had limited prints so you would probably have to spend ALOT of money to get your hands on it. So yeah gl checking any of these out without an amulator.
The game is at its best when youre running around shooting things, none of which attracted me to this franchise in the first place. When next ME inevitably comes out i sure as fuck wont be there day one.
For me so far its the lack luster writing. The dialogue in this game is alot of small talk and no meaningful conversations. Its a sci fi game that never truly embraces its setting and is riddled with characters that are shallow and lifeless.
Even your crew which in the previous games all had very clear personality traits this time around have nothing going on. Different backstories sure but no interesting personality traits to latch on to. Nothing to make them stand out.. This is espe...
He was a goof, which often times i felt just didnt fit. No matter what you choose he just comes across as a failed Nathan Drake wanna be.
It looks like a cosplay, really low budget.
Yeah in the case of Destiny, a game where the gameplay loop is just running through the same handful of corridors killing the same handful of enemies for hundreds of hours i dont see how missing out on 1 or 2 extra missions makes any difference.
The game is built around a soulless grind that copies the dungeon formula from MMOS without providing the actual open world to go along with it.
The atrocious combat is why i quit this game like 10hours in so if they can get that right im definitly coming back.
I also found it quite nice how theres plenty of npcs you can talk to in Andromeda. Inquisition just had a bunch of notes scattered around, it was really boring.
To say that everybody who loved Horizon will enjoy a slow turn based jrpg with lots of grinding like Persona is a real stretch honestly.
What makes this outrage so sad is it comes on the heels of Zelda, a supposed 10/10 game. One where a conversation is just 2 mannequins standing there while flat text pops up. No voice acting nothing, but its 10/10.
The internet loves witch hunts, Andromeda sadly ended up the victim of the latest one.
Meanwhile here i am pissed off at how half my crew in this damn game is either gay or only interested in one night stands. Liike i wanna get rejected in videogames smh......like i dont get enough of that irl...
Id argue both Halo and Gears are pretty much dead right now. Nowadays its all Destiny, CSgo, COD and the more recent Overwatch. Even BF isnt that relevent anymore.
Looks like Ciri from Witcher.
So name a few games that are similar rpg experiences like Inquisition but better. And dont even start with bullshit like Zelda or Horizon becouse they have nothing in common.
The simple reality is Bioware and CD Projekt RED are the only big devs out there making good story driven rpgs. Everything else is either action driven or shallow pew pew co-op shooters.
Andromeda is just like ME1, it has fuck all in common with DA2. If you can get over all the jank theres a really solid game waiting for you.
The character creation in this game is the worst in the whole series. All these outlets keep messing with make-up becouse that and the hairstyle are the only things you can actually change. All the other sliders do fuck all.
Yeah i find it kind of sad seeing people all over this like its a good thing. If Andromeda does badly it just means the death of another solid story driven rpg franchise and its not like the industry is swimming in them.
Meanwhile im sure well see at least 5 other Division and Destiny sequels becouse those shitty games do make money.
Why does everybody act like Andromeda came out last year and they all finished it already? I mean ive only had it for about 2hours now and from what ive heard i got it early becouse the official release is still days away....
Personally im just kinda tired of this 180 going on. Instead of all male casts we are slowly making a turn for all female. This movement is very noticeable in modern entertainment.
