Yeah, it's really good to see new ideas emerging from the indy scene. This looks particularly impressive though, I'll be following the link to have a go right now...
I'm getting that platinum NOW!!!!
This is probably the worst time to put info about this out there, but if the guy's 'friend' couldn't contain himself maybe it is real and just bad timing on the release of the info...
Totaly agree. That's where they should be going with Natal. If they produce software with the abilities you just listed, I'd probably buy into it.
Good ideas.
Seems to have been predicted in an article on a gaming site before. The guy that wrote it was just throwing ideas around, but it looks like he was pretty close to the mark with a lot of things.
What is the world coming to where stuff like this can happen? I remember a simpler time where people were civilized and courteous to each other. Gone are the days where one could sit in a throne and spectate two axe welding nutters for the sake of entertainment. A time when two men could charge at each other with massive sticks on horseback and impale the other upon them for fun. Oh, the hi-jinks of the courtyard.
And before you ask; yes I'm very old indeed. 207 years young yes...
Too true 'stration, too true.
Wooo-wee look at meee, I'm skate boarding in mah livin' room!!! Go outside man, go OUTSIDE! Honestly, if your gonna put in that much effort for game, then you might as well do it for real.
Unless Sony or MS come up with a really good reason for flailing around in our houses, I'll probably not buy into either of them.
Sorry.
We're out of the woods...
...Maybe
When you were a teenager and your mum would say "you're not going out dressed like that are you?" (meaning under dressed for the weather) and you go "what? Go out into the freezing cold Scottish winter weather wearing only a pair of ripped jeans and a wide open half-tucked-in shirt? F*ck yeah! I look cool damnit!"
If it looks cool, then who cares if it means you'll die from a rocket in the face! At least you'll leave a wicked looking corpse.
All I want for christmas is three other friends, a Speccy, a C64, a NES, a SNES, a Master System, a PS1, four old Game Boys with link-up cables, half a dozen arcade cabinets, a massive crate of beer, an endless supply of pizza and a cassette tape boom box in the middle of the room.
Is that too much to ask?
I have a feeling it won't be long before CoD goes the same way as Tomb Raider; CoD has kicked off the standard that gamers expect, but it looks like there will be other games that manage to do what it does but better. I never went out and bought the last BFBC for some reason, but loved the demo. This sounds even better. Destructible scenery is ALWAYS a good idea!
MW2 may have hit over 13million sales, but I ain't one of em'! It's not that I don't think I'd get a lot of entertainment out of it, but more for the points raised in this article (like all the 12 year olds running around) which are pretty much my feelings exactly.
To the right honorable Mr.Cubes; I second that motion!
Heh, heh, heh. C'mon Scruff, the only reason your saying that is cause you've got so many bloody trophies! I'm not on Live, but I've seen your PS3 profile and you've got more platinums than I could shake a game-shaped stick at!
Personally, they don't bother me too much. Even when I've only gotta do some mundane task to get a platinum, I find myself thinking "Why should I?" I buy games to play them and play the bits I enjoy the most, I'm not gonna spend hours of my life tr...
Yeah, it's the sheer size of it that attracts me!
Hrmm, that sounds a bit wrong!!!
Yeah, seems to be great fun, much better than setting my toys on fire and launching them over my sleeping cat!
Peter Mona-lona-lou-do-do is my hero!
Looks like fun, sounds like fun, smells like fun.
I like fun!
Too true Mondayding! I think Home is just a bit of a waste for the europans to be honest, at least the Americans and the Japanese get a decent ammount of stuff, but as the article says, how hard is it to throw in more spaces and content? It really is a tough hand for the EU.
