I dunno, this could be right on the button! But as with all obscure articles like this, it won't be read or get any attention and it's point will go missed! Just like that article that tried to tell everyone the very good reasons as to why the PSPGO was an experiment. Or that one I read years ago about the ARM chips that were to go into the NGP etc.

Shame really...

Brilliant! Every necromorphs worst nightmare, and big sponge finger. If only I knew this the first time around!

The thing is, everyone's been waiting on the next PSP for years. I'm not talkin' about the two re-iterations of the PSP and the GO, I mean this thing here, the NGP. The reason there's more hype with this than the 3DS is because since the DS launched it's been re-made over and over. So the 3DS just seems like another baby-step up in the DS's life, where as this new PSP is a full-on NEW PSP.

The big thing going for it (IMO) is the un-talked about PS Suite ...

@ Yi Long

So, you're saying that in the days of the C64 where you could copy a game that cost 50p and was developed by one guy in his bedroom (yeah, I'm that old too!), the industry today has nothing to worry about concerning piracy!? I'm sorry mate but that's not logic at all. What we have now are teams of people who are using things like motion capture, real actors' voices, script writers, artists, marketing teams, focus groups and a whole shed-load of oth...

@Louie If yu're so much better than him then maybe you can explain why he has 11 Plats and you only got 9?

Yeah, can you explain that?

Okay, let me use the car analogy again; When cars were first being mass produced they were electric. Why? Because they were quieter and easier to use BUT "they" decided that it was much more lucrative to make cars that run on fossil fuels. So they got the marketing together to convince the sheep - sorry - general public, that petrol was the way to go.

Same thing is happening with Kinect, we've all seen it before with the Eye Toy, and we already know of its limitat...

Strickers is right, the PSEye has a 50 and 60fps options.

The BBC already asked M$ to put the iPlayer on their machine, to which they promptly refused when they found out it was a free service and they couldn't charge for it.

I think that says a lot for the ethos of M$, hence everyone uses the "$" when talking about them. I wasn't born yesterday, I KNOW the point of a company is to make money, but they don't have to be such obtuce shits while making that money. Quite why people defend them is beyond me...

LOL There you go gamerdude, hope my dis helped. Anyways, @ AAACE5; I generally come here for a fun argument, but in the last few years this site has just been getting more and more scencible. IT'S JUST NOTT ONNNN DAMNIT!!!!

I nearly fell off my chair when I saw what RedDragon had written. What the hell's going on on this site!? Where's the childish bikkering, the name calling, the bad abbreviations that make dumb people look even dummmerrr!?

Have you played AC:B yet? I have, and I'll tell you now, if that's the average size of an EXPANSION PACK, then you'll be one gamer that'll have to shut up about the worth of DLC from now on. I only started it last night and played for FOUR HOURS and barely scratched the surface, y'know, about as long as it takes to fully finish Blackkkocks.

The world will be a better place without them. They have terrible customer care, they cut (HUGE) corners on any hardwear they make to maximise profits, they drop anything that dosen't work immedietly like HDDVD, Zune, Vista etc and plus my best friend says they smell like cat-pee.

They have a long way to go before they can recoup the money lost from the 360 division after all those years of loss. If they sold 5 million kinects by the end of the year, that still wouldn't even touch the sides of the hole they've made with the 360.

What? Corporate stock splitting is your idea of a "serious gaming issue"!? Seriously man, that's pretty much fuck-all to do with gaming as a hobby. MARIO KICKS SONIC'S ASS!!! THAT'S a gaming issue, WHY THE HELL WAS FALLOUT NEW VEGAS RELEASED IN SUCH A GLITCHY, UNUSABLE, JUNKIE HUMPING, BUG RIDDEN, REPUGNANT MESS!? THAT'S a gaming discussion...

This is just corporate shite.

You can make cut scenes, which is enough I think. To have them rendered would be near impossible! It's looking really good and I'm a big fan of the retro arcade level. I was in a two player when I saw the FPS one, and had to just sit and watch which was fine coz I'm sure he did better than I would have! The sky's looking to be the limit in LBP2 and they're doing the right thing by delaying the release I think.

I'm glad Mm know that I'm waiting fo...

I feel the same way; SotC and ICO were two games that even though I've not played for YEARS, I can visualise them and remember how I FELT while playing them. I'm sure I'm not alone when a sigh of releif escaped my lips as I read that there could be multiple endings for TLG. The Trico reminds me of my old cat I used to have, and I had a feeling he had to die at the end of the game. Kinda like when your horse does a disappearing act in SotC.

This worries me. This has the connotations of one of those game decisions where you think you're doing the right thing but infact are doing the opposite. I just can't get the thought out my head that, the warlords that run this business in these metals will become something far more aggressive and terrible towards the poor people they've enslaved to mine these materials if their business becomes non-lucrative.

I'll sign it because I want to help, but I'm p...

Nice thought provoker, I’m a retro freak to be honest. There’s something pleasing about looking at games from years ago and seeing how we needed more of an imagination to immerse ourselves in their worlds, but (for example) if I try to get my nephew into an older game, he just dosen’t want to know (I think they’re too hard for him) and why should he? If an old Clint Eastwood type came up to you with one of those Hoop & Stick thingies and asked you to have a go, would you even want to? I k...
