I know exactly how the writer feels. I just have so many games and so little time to play all the way through them and it doesn't help that I play WoW and TF2. Actually i haven't played TF2 in a while and probably won't play it anytime soon since SC2 came out.
Personally, I don't think AW lived up to the hyped. It just didn't impress me. Even though they're different games I actually liked Siren: Blood Curse more.
Governments need to sit the fuck back and chill when it comes to film and gaming entertainment. I can understand some countries have a mix of state and religion in their government and don't want negative attention brought towards whatever religion they are because it'll weaken the power they have over their people but these so called "democracies" are somewhat worse. I never voted on giving some old political geezers the power to ban anything they feel is inappropriate for ...
Ummm, I'm pretty sure 1GB of v-ram is more than enough. Hell my 512mb 9800GTX is more than enough for this game and that's being run with only a dual core 2.53 ghz processor and 4gigs of ram.
If Bungie was ready for next gen gaming they'd develop for the PC again seeing as how it'll be at least a few years before the next playstation or xbox is released.
Millions of PSP owners would disagree.
Surprised to finally see an article focusing on Nintendo's piracy problem. People are always talking about piracy on the PSP and PC and how both of those platforms are "dead" because of it which is far from the truth.
I agree with this. I can understand someone just walking into a store and buying cheap $10-$20 movies because they may sound interesting and have shiny box art or something, but when someone's buying $50 and up video games on impulse knowing nothing whatsoever about their purchase then that's an uninformed consumer. Even if a game is a new IP from some dev I've never heard of before I would still look up some info on it before buying it. The internet isn't just a tool for soc...
I can understand the first two complaints. 1 is a no brainer, but I can lean either way on number 2. It sucks that we only have the Terran campaign at the moment and the next two campaigns will be expansions, but at least each campaign will be longer and have more content than in SC1. Hopefully we don't have to wait years before the full SC2 experience is complete. Honestly I cannot see the game melting video cards. Either these video cards that have melted are obsolete and users are push...
The only gaming discussion site on the net worse than N4G that I know of is the Myspace video game forum, but at the same time most sites don't allow discussions to be so open and heated. That can be a good thing or bad thing depending on the article being discussed. I think there needs to be stricter enforcement on pointless fanboys comments where people don't say anything but comments like "GTFO xbot" or "in before SDF".
MW2, nothing. Starcraft... maybe if it's a Starcraft MMO otherwise, nothing.
Firebats anyone?
Meant to hit agree but hit disagree by accident.
I can't see why. I can plug an external HDD into my 360 and use a cheap Linksys router instead of that overpriced wi-fi adapter with no problems. Don't see why they'd block the use of this device.
Kotick got ganked and law firms make way too much money. If they were smart they would've hired a prostitute to play their arm candy. That way they would've paid less in the long run and got a happy ending on the plane while only risking contracting an STD.
They'd have to make a new Dino Crisis game like a mix between 1 and 2 with RE4's play style while still maintaining the survival horror aspect. Not like RE5. They can't really mess up the Onimusha series as long as they keep the gameplay style the same.
5th gen era with the early Dreamcast days thrown in. Been gaming since the late NES/early SNES days when I was still wearing pull-ups but my most fond gaming memories are of the great times I had with the PS1.
I don't get dizzy but I get headaches and sleepiness when watching 3D images too long. My gaming sessions are usually more than 3 hours long so I probably won't be an adopter of 3D gaming.
Can't speak on Crackdown 2, but for the rest I'm pretty sure there are more disappointing sequels out there.
ME2 deserves all the love it's getting from the IGN crew. Personally didn't think it was as good as the first one but still GOTY material. My favorite game of this year so far is definitely Starcraft 2. I understand people have different opinions but even someone who isn't into RTS games can fall in love with the greatness that is Starcraft 2.
