ME1> ME2
Ummm, you don't have to be attracted to a guy to like the way he looks. Going by your logic you must not like playing male characters at all.
ME wasn't exclusive. People including myself have been playing it on PC for a while now.
Talk about fanboyism. Do some of you guys really get off by kicking mud in 360 gamer's faces? This is great news because now more people will be able to enjoy the greatness that is Mass Effect. 1 question though, are they also going to be releasing ME1 for the PS3? I really hope so because not only is ME1 a better game imo but it would be dumb to have only 2 games from the trilogy available to PS3 owners once ME3 comes out.
KOTOR 2 was still a good game even though it was rushed and not as good as the first.
Wow. Looking at the comments it's obvious who read the article and who didn't. It's not about JRPG vs WRPG, it's about the definition of what an RPG really is. They're talking about players having almost full control over a characters choices vs stats , experience systems, and other elements that involve a character's growth. Most traditional WRPGs have both so it's not really focusing on how the sub genre is different than JRPGs. It's more like a discussion on...
Congratz. Need I say more?
I'm still waiting on From Software or Sega, or whoever, to make a Tenchu game for the PS3. We have a Wii, Xbox360, PSP, and DS Tenchu game but no PS3 game. WTF?
Role playing and Role-Playing *Games* are two different things imo. Sort of like there being two different meanings to the term martial arts, one being a way of fighting and the other being the art of war. They strongly relate to each other but at the same time they're different if you know what I mean. This whole arguement is complicated and based on different people's definition of what an RPG is.
I actually enjoyed TFU and I'm planning on getting part 2 so this news is disappointing. Hopefully this guy is making the right decisions and we can get some more great SW games like back in previous gens.
The more mainstream gaming becomes, the more bs like this we'll see.
"BFBC practically aims the sniper for you."
What? You must be talking about the console versions of BFBC because Im 100% sure on the PC version this statement isn't true.
I have to disagree with everyone saying Tomb Raider should be more like Uncharted. The Tomb Raider games focus more on platforming and exploration while UC has a higher focus on the combat. I'd rather they just refine the platforming in TR and make it as smooth as it is in UC and tweek the gunplay a little but not so much that it becomes a UC clone.
No one is trying to take away credit from consoles games when it comes discussions like this. Most of the time people are just pointing out facts that some gamers choose to ignore because it gives credit to a company they either never heard of or refuse to acknowledge.
I love your avatar.
Fatal Frame is the definition of survival horror. RE 1-3 and Dino Crisis 1 and 2 had some great scary moments too.
I have to agree. Dead Space isn't really scary it just had some good jumpy moments. Still a great game though.
Don't tell that to the console only gamers or they'll accuse you of worshipping the devil.
First day sales may have been higher for those other games but it still hasn't been over a month since the game was released and already SC2's sales are estimated to be over 11 million.
Anways PopEmUp is right I don't play sales, I play games. I was just giving SC2 the credit it deserves.
"Everyone will remember Mass Effect 2 for starting the series down the road to immortality"
And I'll remember ME2 as having watered down RPG elements compared to the first. Still a great game though.
PS3 gamers owe it to themselves to play ME1. Playing ME2 without playing the first is like watching The Empire Strikes Back without ever watching A New Hope. You have to experience the story for yourself, it's not the same as having someone ...
