Couldn't agree more. Great game, but a lot of the same issues that have plagued previous Bethesda games using the same engine still exist here. They shouldn't be rewarded for lying about a whole new game engine when they couldn't even fix some of the big problems with different versions that they were confronted with in Fallout 3 and New Vegas.
You mean like when Bethesda said "All new engine for Skyrim!"?
I always assume developers are lying now.
What?
Oh good, it's a joke.
It would have to be.
The next Batman game from Rock Steady is Gotham City Kart Racing.
Activision Presents Duty Calls: Battle on the Field
That's what I'M TALKING ABOUT!
Oh wait, does this cost money?
F that, porn's free on the internet yo.
Played through Normal and then Hard, shooting is fine for me. Maybe people should try sucking less.
MS bought Rare, and now instead of making great games, Rare is stuck making stupid Kinect Sports games.
Yeah, they should totally buy more quality development houses and turn them into shovelware providers.
Elder Scrolls: Wind Waker. Nice.
Awesome, was looking for Skylanders for my son for XMas, $20 off of the Starter Pack, nothing wrong with that.
I don't care who outsold who, it's time for new console hardware, current systems are holding back PC game development. Imagine how great Skyrim COULD have been on the PC if it wasn't being held back by the antiquated hardware inside of the 360 and PS3.
I agree, that does suck. I have 2 PS3s currently, had considered a 3rd actually, since I wanted one in my home office and they can be had pretty cheap now. Might still pick up a 3rd, but this definitely put a damper on that idea.
"Microsoft has already donated three Xbox 360′s to a local elementary school in Snohomish, Wash. as part of a visit by the Seattle Seahawks."
Wow, don't go crazy now, that's like $600-$900 right there! Hope nobody at MS had to take a pay cut.
Elder Scrolls Arena was a buggy mess at launch.
Elder Scrolls Daggerfall was a buggy mess at launch.
Elder Scrolls Morrowind was a buggy mess at launch.
Elder Scrolls Oblivion was a buggy mess at launch.
Fallout 3 was a buggy mess at launch.
Fallout New Vegas was a buggy mess at launch.
There's precedent. If you didn't know going in, well, that's just weird.
Also, Skyrim has been the least buggy Bethesda I...
LOL. Idiot.
At it's peak on Steam yesterday, 287k people were playing Skyrim on Steam, which is pretty impressive. I'm guessing those PC Skyrim sales were all retail, since we never see digital sales these days. The only reason I bought retail was for the "cloth" map, otherwise, I would have just pre-ordered on Steam as well.
24 hours into Skyrim and have not had a single game breaking issue, no crashes, no issues with npcs not doing what I need/want them to do.
I haven't read this article, but I would say in comparison to Fallout:NV or even Fallout 3, Skyrim is the most stable Bethesda release since Oblivion.
They're right, I totally bought Gears 3 used on Craigslist for $25 because I found out they were charging $10 for DLC already on the disc.
Yep, XBox 360 exclusive.
Thought the combat in UC3 was fine, I've gone through the game on Normal and then Hard, might do Crushing at some point.
People should try sucking less.
PC could have this problem as well for all we know, since it's locked down on Steam until release. Definitely getting the PC version tho, will be attending a midnight launch for it actually. Can't wait for the first hi-res texture pack to hit, lol.
What, Popcap is porting the same games to whatever piece of hardware with a screen will support them? Say it ain't so.
