Game looks about like what you'd expect from the shell of a company that Infinity Ward is and Sledgehammer, who hasn't put out anything before as a developer.
Didn't go to their site to read the review, no interest in going there to read them try to justify it. Played through Uncharted 3 twice, and any reviewer giving it anything less than an 8/10 it doing it for some other reason than because of the quality of the game itself.
360 version has been posted on usenet for days and downloaded 10s of thousands of times. Yeah, PC gaming is the only platform affected by piracy, right?
Uncharted 3 is an amazing experience, a great, emotionally driven story with characters that you truly care about, and this asshole only gives it 4/10? What a joke. Never heard of the guy, and I guess there's a reason why. Maybe him and Jim Sterling should be roommates.
Who's Tom Chick?
Just because it's on consoles doesn't mean people will automatically buy an inferior version. Playing Operation Firestorm w/ a limit of 24 is just an embarassment.
Does that PC sales number include digital distribution? I would doubt it, since it never does. I'm surprised that almost 500k people walked into a store and bought BF3, and expect at least that many bought it online instead, I know I did.
Pole dancer.
Oh wait, wrong game.
Dunno, I usually don't know what I'm going to be until I'm faced with making the decision, and then I go back and forth until I just give up and pick some random class.
Apparently there's a bunch of stuff that's on the disc that you have to pay to unlock after release? Yeah, that would make me go ballistic alright...
Brink made the list but Resistance 3 only got honorable mention? Crazy!
Same, as tempting as it is, just going to wait til 11/11 to see it myself.
You don't have to work for EA to know the Battlefield series in general lays waste to the Modern Warfare series, especially now that Infinity Ward is a shell of the former company and the Tony Hawk GBA game designers at Sledgehammer have a hand in MW3.
Add the "Pepsi Double XP" promo that completely obliterates any real balance in the game in favor of 'He who buys the most Pepsi products wins', and it's not hard to see that Activision is doing to Ca...
Have about 11 hours into the PC version, 1920x1080 on Ultra settings. Spent about an hour last night watching my cousin play the 360 version w/ the "hi-def" textures installed.
I feel kind of sorry for those people.
I'm good Bethesda, just gimme gimme gimme!
20 more days! It's like en eternity.
Rage is awesome even without deathmatch, great game through and through.
Women with large, mostly uncovered boobs? I'm in.
This is pre-Francis being an ass. How exciting.
Capcom-ese for "Pony up bitches!"
They said this with the Move stuff for RE5 AND the move from SF4 to SSF4. This is Capcom's way of getting more money out of people. Crappy company, crappy ethics, nuff said.
Maybe I'm in the minority, I think LA Noire was pretty overrated though. It had some good ideas, but for the amount of time it took to develop, it should have been a lot more than it ended up being.
Show me a game these days that doesn't come with a patch Day One, it's pretty rare on any platform. Developers figure most people have internet, so they can skimp on the bug fixing and make it a post-release thing. It's pretty sad, but even sadder for people who don't have internet and buy these games. At least the PC version requires internet/Steam, so I guess that's something.
Imagine buying a copy of Fallout 3 for the PS3 and not having internet on your...
