yess, summer would be a good time for this game
the game has really changed a ton since release, but thats b/c the devs really listen to the community
BUT I WANT IT NOW!!!!
I was kinda disapointed with lack of cockpit view also, then i realized that a game like this is best played where you can see where cars are coming from and slam them...I'll live w/o it. Plus I won this from N4G's October Forum contest thing, can't complain about freeness
the demo is terrible, as is all other 2k demos, you really gotta rent the full game if you want a fair judgement
I love Criterion and if they support this like they have supported Burnout Paradise, prepare for this game to be completely amazing, even a year or so after it releases
woulda done it earlier but i was waiting for money to come in...lots of haters here on the mainsite tho - obviously dont play basketball games or any sports games for that matter
most likely the complainers dont play nba 2k games...or probably any sports games. go to 2ksports.com, read the updated features, watch the videos - most of all, read the developer insights on all the new features that they have added. It's more than any other sports game has added EVER(between 1 year).
Each dev insight is about a 5-10min read, and there's about 10 of them. How many sports titles have that many new features and updates in 1 game? Go play madden from ...
2k puts out super old versions of their demos or something, their demos have never been enough to sell their games...but real 2k fans go to the website and read the developer insights and all the features there
but some games like to do that when their games get old, like burnout paradise..$30 for game, all cars(already unlocked), and all dlc. But to be fair, it came out a year or so later
thats why you've had it since launch and only played 13 games total....14 if you count the game we played after you saw that you only played 13
it plays better too, and has some of the best features i've ever seen in any basketball game - or maybe ANY sports game
Developer Insights tell it all:
http://community.2ksports.c...
the demo for 2k11 is complete crap compared to what the full game is gonna be. It's always been like that with 2k demos: 1 short quarter with a little bit of gameplay.
Check out the developer insights and all the features that are getting added to 2k11:

I'll only agree that the demo was [possibly] better, only b/c the 2k11 demo was soooo bare...full game Elite being better than 2k11, not a chance. NBA 2k11 will reign as champ, as it usually does.
Elite was supposed to be their revival of the series..it has greatly dissapointed
This game, when the full version arrives, has the potential to be the best sports sim ever, definitely the best basketball sim
paying for games so that devs make money and WANT to keep making games.
"im working hard at a real job somewhere, but these spoiled rich brats are living fun lives off their parents...im gonna quit and live with my parents too now"
^^^see how dumb that sounds?
I love how innocent they sound:
"even tho its obviously stolen property that we managed to get our sneaky hands on, we are the victims here - we believe everything in life should be free...except the stuff we sell to you to make it free"
to get free apps from the market...just gotta acquire them and install
I've actually seen quite the amount of Move commercials, and I really only watch the NFL on tv. At night though, when I watch tv to fall asleep, there are all the wii and kinect commercials - but its just the hipster commercials for Just Dance, Michael Jackson Experience, and Dance Central.
Where's that darn Kinectimals commercial????
