I agree, the first one was too easy as far as single player goes. I didn't feel too overpowering, but I did feel as if nothing could take me down as far as boss battles go, and i wasn't even using a strategy guide for them - that's how easy it was.
I usually have to pull out a strategy guide for at least 1 or 2 bosses in FF games, but that's due to them specifically making bosses have secret weak spots or secret patterns that no normal person would pick up on...
You clearly, didnt play more than 5 minutes of Saints Row 2 if you think GTA has done all that was in that game.

I'm sure there would be sandbox games. Also, GTA 1 was just an action game pretty much "get this many points and move on". There were games that were like that already. And Driver came out before GTA3 with almost the same sandbox premise used today, the only thing is that you couldn't leave your car. But thats enough with the history lesson.
SR2 and SanAndreas...I still give the nod to SR2 because it had more to do and you could play the whole game co-op, ...
AGREED...they brought back the actual FUN to sandbox games and added some crazyness on top to make a very good game imo. Most people compare this to GTA and use things like "graphics, polish, story, etc." to claim GTA is better. Most of those people probably haven't played Saints Row, and whats looks and story without a fun game?

The tanks have arrived...also, I'm lovin the new police car look. Police cars were my #1 way of transportation in that game, I took them to the shop and tricked them out, then made them purple to match the gang colors...these new ones look even better.
not everyone wants a exact sim of real life racing that will just bore them to death. Shift was just fun. Racing games don't need to have perfect damage models or perfect physics to be fun.
woowww..PEOPLE DID BUY IT, why do you think EA bought that license? They couldn't sell their game at $50 if 2k was at $20 AND it was actually good.
Plus, Madden had a stronghold on the nfl game industry, so people were still buying it for the title more than anything, but if you gave 2k a couple more years at that price, they would've stole the market - just like they did with the NBA franchise, now look at where EA is with their NBA game...
I think the disagrees were because of how he is stating everything as fact, when he doesn't know anything for sure. Even if what he says comes true later, none of it is 100% fact right now.
It's mostly PC kids(since the first game is a PC game) and those kids complain about everything since apparently consoles ruin every game for them.

I hated that there wasnt a radar in the first game(although I didn't really mind) I also thought that having a cover system would have been better, which they put in this new one,and all the PC guys are complaining about it...

idk, i've played plenty of clans who start every match by tossing all their grenades into well known areas where people most likely run to start...but yes, grenade spam does suck.
If I even carry grenades, I'm saving them for the end game when we gotta get that last guy out of hiding

I have yet to buy a ps3 ratchet and clank game...although I've played and beat them, I won't purchase them until they get on the level of Up Your Arsenal...or unless they do an HD remake with functioning online.
I can't believe they dropped the multiplayer from UYA/Deadlocked. It was sooo awesome, nothing compares and Resistance MP/Coop aren't as fun imo
