if you can't get past the login screen, then you can't rate the game...because you haven't played it. Let's get real people, who didn't foresee this happening even in the slightest?
yeah its a good practice for DLC. If you are gonna offer it, it better have a bunch of awesome stuff. I don't care for map packs or a few quests that "add too the story".
this is the exact reason I don't want to wait and get this game later. I wan't to have my pawn really high level and really freaking good so he/she can bring me tons of gifts and monies later on when it counts.
*sigh* you n4g pc gamers make us real pc gamers look bad with all your talks of graphics and framerate, especially when it has nothing to do with the article. We get it, games look better on our pcs, big whoop, too bad that doesn't translate into better gameplay
I know that's right, I have a job and I still won't be able to get all the May games that I want
Another Vita RPG to suck hours our of my life...
they make grinding too much fun, and easy, but not too easy. So it's easy to get caught up in item world trying to squeeze every bit of power out of stuff, and then taking on the reverse role of pirating, then homeroom votes to alter the game to your liking, then the fact that you can level up to freaking 9999...*head explodes*
Don't get me started on how much time this is going suck out of my life...and then im gonna buy Disgaea 4 for PS3 and start the process all over again
@MostJadedGamer
It's not false, I also used to work for Gamestop and most of our customers were NOT core gamers. They were either kids or parents or grandparents buying for their kids. The only time we saw the core gamers in a large capacity was at midnight releases. And my Gamestop was right next to a nerdy tech university, so it's not like they weren't around
I also now work at Best Buy and let me tell you, they get some pretty good preorder deals that ...
wow what a jerk...and im pretty sure he was just saying that so you wouldn't hurt his numbers. There is no penalty for cancelling preorders(I used to work at gamestop). They just judge you and your store based mostly on pre orders and card activations so it sounds like he was just trying to scare you - i've been to some gamestops that try that stuff all the time especially with that bs disc protection.
Yeah dood gaming in Best Buy is dope. I work at BBY, and I just signed up for their gamer club unlocked so I can get the free magazine every month. BBY has only had a game department(we sold games but it has never been its own department) for less than a year, but they are doing well and I feel like often times it has much better deals than Gamestop and the employees are much better than Gamestop(and I've worked at gamestop before).
The used game selection is going to be...
sigh...unfortunately, it could be true. I've been working at Best Buy for almost a year and some of the return reasons are just that dumb. Like the hundreds of returns we get for people getting viruses.
hmmmm.... @MysticStrummer
Saying, "the city is lifeless in comparison, the story is almost nonexistent, and the gameplay is ok but not great." clearly proves that you've done no more than watch videos or read comments on Saints row 2 and 3(I didnt play the first so idk). The story isnt mindblowing, but its there and easy to follow and the city is completely FULL of life. I can get out of my vehicle, walk down the side walk and see random gang members fighting ...
@Zag
Not true, especially with these popular games, its more like 1-2 weeks early, sometimes earlier. Especially when the game is released in November, which is the start of holiday season for retail stores, they start getting popular items in ridiculously early.
thats exactly my beef with the series. I can play sr2 for hours and not do a mission. In fact, last night a friend and I were messing around and we turned on some cheats for fun. Tornado heli + super explosions + unlimited satchel + pimp slap = ridiculousness.
I blew up an 18 wheeler from the Tornado and the impact flung a nearby car into the air right into me and my helicopter blew up with me in it. And of course who wouldnt enjoy watching someone get smacked by a giant foam...
@NarooN
...and that trailer was awesome
it's still stupid to do it a month ahead of time, especially since you can't do anything with it
lol..i thought he meant Amontillado, I just had to read down more to confirm. I had to read and watch that in 9th grade - it freaked me out kinda, but now i want to do that to someone
Haduken???? This game is currently my most anticipated, simply because I have no idea what to expect when I play, other than total chaos and randomness
nothing is a must for any title, except functionality. This is a typical response from today's spoiled gamers. From what I've read from all preview/reviewers, the game is still solid w/o co-op, although co-op would make it 10x more fun and will probably keep it from perfect scores.
