The 4 year gap means nothing since graphics and games haven't really improved from the start of the gen. 30 fps is unacceptable this gen.

Sony is offering a service where games that are past their self life can generate more income. That's not Sony's main strategy for games and gamers.

Game Pass is for many developers/publishers the only CHANCE to even make SOME money on Xbox platform. Xbox's main strategy is Game Pass, and Xbox gamers don't buy games the same way PS and PC players do, and that is not sustainable.

Instead of helping the developers and publishers recuperate development and marketing costs by buying the games you are interested in so that they can keep creating new games in the future, you place the burden on PS and PC gamers (who actually buy games) to fund the game development.

That is Game Pass in a nutshell.

Since Xbox Series console sales are even weaker than Xbox One's, stagnant is a bit misleading - it's shrinking!

It's ridiculous that you have fallen for MS's slight of hand fooling you to think Doom and other multiplat titles are Xbox games, and even worse, "more" Xbox games. You were starving for new games yet you didn't get any new games. Those same games would have released on Xbox regardless. Why? Because they are multiplat titles.

MS created an illusion that you are now happily spreading as a positive narrative. Either you are an MS employee or you are a ve...

Doesn't it bother you to be wrong all the time?

Many of those you listed are multiplatform titles. Doom is not an Xbox game, doesn't matter that MS bought Bethesda.

Xbox gamers demanded more games. Instead all they got was multiplatform titles that would have released on the platform regardless of the acquisition.

Xbox's lack of focus and failure to bring new games to market are a hard punch in the face of gamers.

Not really.

The movement and perk system are great but the remade MW2 (2009) maps are terrible for the new style of COD gameplay.

The graphics are worse and the sound design is a major downgrade.

The gunplay is also very inconsistent compared to MW2.

Also, because the ttk is higher than normal, it drives way more people to use snipers due to their fast ttk ability. Every lobby is now filled with snipers and that does ...

How is it good? Xbox players are not getting any more games to play that way - the games would have come to Xbox regardless of the acquisitions.

MS bought major MULTIPLATFORM publishers.

How old are YOU? Big companies use accounting tricks and gimmicks all the time to make things look better than they are. Ever heard of window dressing?

Even if Game Pass was making a profit on the record, in real world it is really easy to see that Game Pass can not be profitable the way it currently is.

In addition to that, Phil Spencer is a known liar, usually the opposite of what he says is true.

Have you THOUGHT about how much money MS uses to acquire and keep all the games on Gamepass? Then think about the relatively low number of Game Pass subscribers and the amount of money they bring in every month.

There is no chance that Game Pass is actually profitable. It is a market disruption tool which a giant megacorporation like MS can afford to use in perpetuity if needed.

That's mostly BS. You can test it for yourself by playing PS1 and PS2 games, for example.

MS manipulated Starfield's pre-release review score by withholding review copies from multiple reviewers inflating the metascore before release.

Starfield's metascore was artificially high, around 88-89, for an extended period of time before the score finally settled on 83. It still has only 90 reviews on Metacritic. Usually a game of that caliber gets around 120-130 reviews.

It is so rare that it is the exception rather than the rule.

Digital games also have no value, so it is really never the case that they are cheaper in the end.

Rent free. Rent and free.

It's funny that you used those words since you Xbox players often confuse them when it comes to Game Pass. You pay perpetual rent for games yet you continue to think it is free.
