How old are you? You don't break contracts on a whim.
@-Foxtrot, explain how is that not a limited run?
So, instead of buying the game at a discounted price a couple of months after its release, you prefer to pay a perpetual rent to play the game? Makes zero sense.
Elden Ring has very outdated graphics lmao.
Imagine if they actually made it a focused, story-driven single player experience with actualized characters.
Why are you getting downvoted? Those are great game series and it is indeed baffling that Sony has basically killed off those franchises and focused solely on story driven third person action games. There is currently a shortage of shooter games on the market, so there is plenty of room for Sony's shooters.
That was hands down the worst part of the game.
It looks very generic and very outdated. What parts look "cool" to you, exactly?
Battlefield, even though a successful series and often the superior game, never came even close to Call of Duty numbers when it comes to sales. Don't try to rewrite history.
It's not THAT necessary on a console. Tvs are usually either 1080p or 4k. 1440p concerns only those who game on displays.
"If done right" lmao. The only way to do that right is to make them unlockable via in game progression.
"Possession spam" has never been an issue with teams who stick together. You can counter that as a team.
I play roughly 50/50 survivor and demon, and most losses happen because of teammates who refuse to stick together, loot all the resources instead of giving them to the right characters etc.
Only inexperienced players complain about possession spam.
The phrase "Going gold" doesn't refer to sales in this context. It means something like that the "final" version of the game is complete and has been shipped to be printed.
You are incorrect. Battlefield 3 was great, and so was Battlefield 4. Battlefield 1 was decent, too.
Also, Bad Company 2 came after Mass Effect 2, and it is a masterpiece.
You are right on the money.
Jin_Sakai, you are on to something. Think about Ghost of Tsushima, for instance. It is a new IP released close to The Last of Us Part 2's launch, and it has sold over 8 million units. Those sales were reported in January, so the sales of Ghost of Tsushima could be closer to 10 million now. Those are crazy numbers for a brand new IP.
I have a feeling that TLOU2's development costs were so high that 10 million units sold in 2 years is less than what they were expectin...
@Spectator1
Yes, quite low numbers, especially when compared to the size of the player base.
@Bladesfist
Ah, I see. I stand corrected. That is entirely possible.
AAA games don't sell that well on PC. Sony will be sorely disappointed if they think they can increase their income fourfold just by releasing PS games on PC.
Of course it's not because it is held back by last gen specs.
