Of course you of all people would want that.
Oh boy, my downvoting hand is getting some real good exercise thanks to Orchard.
We all know what YOU mean when you say "competition". Another day, another Orchard downvote.
You know, that $40 is a one-time fee.
Game Pass on the other hand requires you to pay perpetual rent to play the game. And at some point the game will disappear from the service.
It's always a pleasure downvoting Orchard. Everything you write is written through an MS bias filter that is so obvious it makes everything you write sound comedic.
Have you even played the game?
Imagine being this out of touch.
It is still problematic. In every scenario that is related to subscription services you will end up using more money in the long run than you would have without subscriptions. Perpetual rent is very anti-consumer.
Raytracing is many times one of those things that you have to "look for" to notice it. When I'm watching raytracing comparison videos, sometimes it's very hard to pinpoint the differences until the video is paused and zoomed in on the details. To me, that is not worth the resources raytracing demands from the hardware.
Here you are rewriting history again. Days Gone sold well during launch.

Gamers liked it at launch, too. Don't try to rewrite history.
Lol, so you are essentially letting other people decide for you if a game is good or not. I don't understand people who blindly stare at metascores. Sad.
Why not get both?
No. Digital games are ridiculoisly more expensive. It's not uncommon to see a launch game costing 80 euros on PS Store and 60 euros in a physical store.
Highly unlikely, as Xbox is barely profitable business as it is.
@darkrider Did you even read my comment?
How can you agree/not agree with a review of game that you haven't played yourself? I'm of course assuming you haven't had a change to play the game yet.
MS has a poor track record with managing its game studios. It goes to show that all the money in the world doesn't matter when it comes to creating high quality exclusives if you simply can't make them.
Sony only has a fraction of the funds MS has available to them yet they are still on top of the proverbial game.
@porkchop that's not the only point of physical. Can you sell a digital game? No. And physical is cheaper from the get go. MW2 costs 80 euros on the PS Store. Physical is 65 euros and possibly lower.
GaaS is not a good thing. You can make a good multiplayer game without it being a GaaS game.
Battle royale is not variety when it is the current trend in the video game industry.
