Why wouldn't they be using the same engine? Their in-house engine is far superior to anything like UE5.
The Last of Us: Part 2 still looks miles better than most current gen titles.
Ridiculous mindset.
I don't see a problem here. PC gamers always tout how powerful gaming PCs are.
What's your point?
The first time you connect the disc drive to the console, it requires a registration process. After that initial step, the disc drive does not need internet connection to work.
No one has to beg for MS for that to happen. They HAVE to release those games on PS since you don't pay for games.
I mean *sold* well. Not anymore, though, thanks to GamePass.
Maybe in "engagement metrics" but not in actual sales. Call of Duty is one of those big games that actually sell well even on Xbox.
You are underestimating the importance of a re-release of a game that has previously been accessible only on old hardware. I've never had the chance to play this game. Soon I will be able to play it for the first time.
You should listen to Obscure_Observer - as an Xbox fan he knows all about disappointment.
Optimization is done on the design level.
@swedishMeatwad
PS5 Pro is obviously objectively the better product when compared to the base PS5, but the majority of consumers interested in a PS5 will not be picking Pro over base PS5.
There are countless examples like this out there.
"Consumers will always pick the better product"
Since when?
That number is based on the analysis DF did of the PS5 Pro reveal YouTube video. DF hasn't analyzed the actual PS5 Pro version yet.
PS5 Pro must be good since Obscure_Observer is in a panic mode because of it.
If it counts, the GTA V PS5 port came with nothing but the disc.
MS still hasn't released SALES numbers for Starfield. The game flopped hard commercially.
Destruction All Stars' servers have been down since May, I believe.
So your solution is to pay a perpetual rent instead? You know, the option that costs significantly more in the long run. Make it make sense.
@Obscure_Observer
Doesn't it get tiresome being constantly wrong about everything, all the time?
