I hope T2 sticks to its guns and merges with someone other then EA. Competition is good in this industry without it games get stale and old.
*hmmm..MADDEN anyone*
T2 don't give in, money is not worth the freedom the company will lose if this merger takes place.
Theres no right or wrong it all comes down to what environment the user perfers. I for one don't care about making friends on HOME, I barely got time for my real friends. But it's free so I might as well try it.
P.S. No curtains for me, just big screens everywhere :)
You agree with anything anti-sony so the last part of you statement doesn't shock me.
"Why not just play Killzone 2 or Resistance 2 and talk about it than? Why would you want to play virtual bowling or vitural pool when you can play an actual game?"
As far as that statement goes, games as a whole have evolved to a point where they are just to huge to try to plan strategy and tactics on the fly, meaning that you or your team will lose. Do you think some o...
To answer your question, I could really careless about attempting to make friends in HOME, but for many this has something to do with it begin more of a 3-D myspace. Live for the most part is a real-time myspace for gaming, you log on you got your pals, they see when your on, message you and invite you to games and it works great. HOME on the other hand, I believe is looking to add that second degree of interaction, not only will I now know what friends are logged on I can see them (or at l...
I do see how you would want to support a service like live. But I really don't think the consumer should be asked to pay $50 for part of the games development. Having played on Live as well as PSN, I would have to give the edge to Live. The functionality and ease of use really streamlines what can be clunky on the same game on PC. But for PSN being a free service, it is not that far behind. The only problem I see with PSN is there is not that one uniform standard that makes Live that much...
It's not the story many gamers are upset about, its what FOX titled said story. Read the article from Kotaku, many sites and newspapers printed the story but none of them went out of their way to label these monsters as "Gamers". They were irresponsible and the fact that they might have played a videogame over the course of 8 days does not warrant the story to have the title FOX gave the story. It demeans many of us who are responsible Gamers. You can replace "gamer" wi...
While I agree with some of what you said, Insomniac not having help is not true. Insomniac and Naughty Dog Along with a few others are in that "SPECIAL" group of Sony friends that get more help then other Dev's. While it might not be Silver platter status it is help. But I do see where you comment is coming from.
My understanding is that GAME is a UK store. The only thing that EA has with mass appeal is FIFA, but there are alternatives to that franchise, pro evolution (winning 11 not sure if they are the same) Futbol (soccer). As a business owner I would not let one company such as EA to screw me only for me to turn around and screw my customers. In the end I would have to deal with having no more customers not EA. So theres my reason for it. If EA would then not want me to carry their product o'w...
IF true, just don't sell the game. refuse to carry it at all.
In 2-4 years the PS3 will either be 3-5 years old, the PS2 now is already in its 8th year. So yeah people will care, consumers wanting a cheap game/movie platform, just like the PS2, will want a PS3. And developers looking to make a game without the high budget will love to have a powerful system to make a great game without having to spend $50mil + on a game for a new system. For 2 console generations Sony has had two machines overlapping each other's lifespan and so far it has paid off ...
I can't believe out of many gamers in this forum I seem to be one of the few who are EXTREMELY excited about this game. If this game hits the few U.S. arcades, my son is gonna make many, many trips to the arcade just like I did in my youth.
I saw the drum kit at my local Sam's Club for only $65, I Was so close to getting it but I just needed so many things for around the house that $65 + $55 was something I didn't have to buy the game. I could just wait to get the whole package at a later date.
Can't wait. Its about time they put in motorcycle, this game is gonna be sweet!!!
Can;t wait for this game. kind've funny how they mention 1080p.
Most of the game is lines it better be 1080p. Can't wait this game is gonna be fun.
The first is my favorite SP FPS to date, the second looks to rock the boat even more. Cant' wait.
Am a little upset that they got rid of fight night, but if this game is fun I'm gonna have to check it out. But as of right now I'm not sold on the new franchise, reminds me to much of Ready 2 Rumble.
Feel sorry for you in California Minimum wage is $8.00 and I make slightly more then that.
Plus if Microsoft could make a decent product, that last for more then 5 months I would gladly buy one, but 40% RRoD rate is not something I'm willing to risk on. Maybe if they had "PROUD" Americans like you building their product it would last longer. "American built" used to mean something in the world, now all it means is "American Funded, built by Jose, Ahm...
I guess you better start stomping on all the Honda, Mazda and Toyota owners as well......Oh wait Honda and Toyota have plants here in that states. Where are the Xbox, Ford and Chevy built???? Mexico!!!!
damn hypocrite. Americans like yourself get angry when American support is not given by other nations but yet all major American cooperation only have there HQ's here and all other parts of the company like the factories and shipping are handled out of the country so that they can save...
True, burnout was a great looking game and does not suffer from the same issues as other EA games tend to do, but that is because EA was only the publisher for the title, Critions developed the game and did a fine job at it. Madden and other titles with the exception of Skate have loads of bugs and glitches that either don't appear on the 360 or are more noticeable on the PS3. I think there was where The Hater was coming from.
2.5 out of 10 million is the current number. For resistance.
If you are going to stay current your number of
Geow 1 = 4.5 million with a 10 million install base is incorrect.
That number should 4.5 with a 18 million install base.
Percentage wise they are both at about 25%.
