If this were to come true the only people who are going to suffer are developers and QAtesters. Without the PS3, devs are going to have to figure out how they are going to make, what average to be about 40% percent of their total sales. Not just make up sales on the initial project but DLC as well. That is a lot of money to be lost which by far is more return then investment. The PS3 is not lead on any of their games so the investment is smaller then that of the 360. Meaning that even with a ...
Saw splinter cell at E3 and the game looked awesome. Sucks that there will be no PS3 version. But this game might just make me want to get a 360. I like where they took the character and the story. The game reminds me of a fully interactive version of the movie "Taken". This will be one to watch, I see this game being one of the most underrated game's to come this generation.
And we care why? I didn't know there were that many stockholders on this site.
And for the 16,000 that lost your jobs sorry, that's tough especially in the economy but hopefully things go well for all of you.
The game would suck, cause everybody would just pick the ret.paly and own everyone else.
So you want a modern one so it can be like "left 4 dead"? there's pleasing people now-a-days. Do something that is not like the last, "OMG this game blows, they should've done it more like this game". Do something similar to what is out there "Why don't they do something different". whatever rant over.
I think Sony could afford to lose some more money on the PS3 for one simple reason. It is a multi-entertainment machine. Most of the money they lose on selling a PS3 at a low cost can be recovered, since now you have more people potentially buying more games, more DLC and more Blu-rays. I think Sony wouldn't have a problem dropping the price if we were not in a recession, but since consumers are now more picky with what they are buying I think Sony is right in not dropping the price just yet....
that would be so bad a$$. I would get one to match my psp. I hope that does happen.
Why not ask for updates instead of a sequel.
I hope not. Things in the UFC don't change as rapid as they do in the WWE. So hopefully we'd get small updates to tighten the game a little more, I feel hit detection is a little off at times. and then from there make bi-annual sequels, that would be pretty coo.
Then I guess the PS community should be thanking the 360 community for all the publicity it's be getting since launch. Killzone 2, Uncharted, Little big planet, Metal gear solid, Playstation 3, GoW3, MAG, PSP, Ratchet and Clank and more send their thanks.
Its motorboat time.
I hear people use that argument all the time, but in reality the two are so far apart. If we take 1 person who has never done neither, it would take that person about 2 weeks just to get proper control of his hand to play a real guitar and thats just a few chords. While in that same time that same person can master pretty match the whole game on Medium difficulty. Also to learn a real guitar you have to set time aside to learn it since even an acoustic can be pretty noisy which can cause a wh...
I saw Shift at E3 and it looked insane. It down right looked fun and beautiful, I hope that EA can resurrect this franchise to into its past glory.
who copied and pasted the last paragraph of a three page review which has nothing to do with gameplay, graphics, or anything of importance when it comes to the enjoyment of this game. Bloodmask WOW! your blood must be full on green by now. watch out with your blood pressure before you get a 3/4 blinking circle on your chest.
My top 3 were God of War 3, Uncharted 2 and Splinter Cell: conviction. These 3 games were by far the best of show.
at the article and the author of the article.
Its good and bad, This year is already stacked with games I want to play I don't need another to add to that list. 2010 will be fine with me, game looks f*cken sick. Kind've like if Kojima and Yu Suzuki were the same person this is the title he would come up with.
I will agree to disagree. The reason I think a reply is not needed for an agree is the original post might already say most of what you wanted and if you have to post a reply to agree you would get of bunch of "Same here", "I agree", "That's right" comments that just take up space.
What are you talking about?? The 360 will not see this title. XBL's infrastructure will not allow for this game to run. Dedicated servers are needed to run any type of MMO. XBL is strictly P2P. PS3 and PC are the only viable options for this game, not the 360. So yeah this game will be a console exclusive for PS3, but will not be an "Exclusive" in the sense that it is also coming out on PC.
You are very mistaken. that may have been true like 10 years ago. But as of now DVD and Blu-ray rake in more profit then theater revenue. Where before a summer blockbuster would stay in a theater for 6 months to rake in profit, big time movies see at most a 2 month stint at the theater and make it out to DVD and Blu-ray before the holiday. Movies like the Dark knight, Harry Potter and other big name movie are usually only in theaters for a month and a half and come out for the holiday's. Peop...
