tough luck with that one. Activision already has a hold of IW's soul.
Look up Starcraft, warcraft 2 and 3, world of warcraft, F.E.A.R., Half-life 2. Notice that all those games have something called expansion packs. The expansion themselves are pretty much the same as the base game, but the developers added tweak to the games system add new units or simply upgraded the game with an expanded story. Thats the same thing that is happening here. This is not the same game with a character upgrade, its all new network code, new fighters, new stages, more balance to t...
its called an expansion. This is not a full price release. its an upgrade much like they have on PC's. You buy Starcraft you can expand your experience by buying Broodwars, you have Warcraft 3 why not expand to the frozen throne. Again this purchase is not a have to they are merely upgrading and expanding everything from the base game. Milking is what they did with the costume DLC and what EA does by selling you unlock codes for stuff already in the game. Thats milking it. Or how about the mi...
Whine, whine, whine if you liked the original. (I have spend at least 1000 hours playing SF4) then what is the problem with an upgrade in all honesty, I cant wait. Its not a full price title, even Capcom is calling it an expansion, so whats the issue. $40 dollars for an expansion of a game I have played to death seems worth it to me. This is just like playing Starcraft and then having the option to buy Brood Wars. You don't need to, but the experience will be different for the game depending ...
I remember when everything 2k was gold, what Happen???
Thats a bummer really I just found some pretty cool arcades out here in So.Cal now there will be no point for me to make it out there. But the tournament scene should be crazier then ever once SSF4 is released.
I could've sworn T.Hawk was Mexican? didnt know there were many Cherokees in Mexico.
I want to play shenmue again, that would be a game I would buy.
Says the angry Xbox fan who hates on everything PS3 related.
I don't see why there is a complaint about a new SF game. Street fighter 4 was the first new game in 8 years and while 1 year might seem really really close for a sequel. Baka-akaB has already commented that there was a netcode (GPPO) which they got a late license to which at the time probably would've broke the game if they had attempted to implement it before release. Also I have commented on the rumor of SF4 dash which is the reported name for the sequel and the rumor has it that there wil...
Google "Street fighter 4 dash" this has been a recent rumor about a new SF4 game in the works. The only things rumored outside of a new version is that the new game will add 10 new fighters to current roster. 3 from the alpha series 3 from the third strike series and 2 old timers. Rumor has it as DeeJay and T.Hawk plus 2 all new characters. Again this is just a rumor but if true looks to more then just a minor upgrade. I just wish they had better online code as it stands BlazBlue is...
but it does add another degree of realism and really the only thing left that Gran turismo doesn't do. This franchise has been at the top of realistic driving sims since the original game first came out on the PS1. Now with damage models we can stop suspending realism for the sake of bumper car madness when ever the car hit an object. I haven't played a GT since B-Spec on PS2, but this game looks great enough for me to comeback to the franchise. So Many games so little time (and money) :)/:( ...
PC gaming can be expensive but not as expensive if you know how to do certain things yourself. Like how to upgrade your Videocard, Ram, processor and other items on your PC. But to look at a PC, even a gaming PC as solely a gaming device is not correct. There is way more functionality when it comes to what a PC can do as oppose to a console. Say you want to make a game, take your PC and buy a program and learn how to make one, don't want to buy movies? torrents, baby. Need to write a report f...
Its not me listening to N4G its listen to whats out there. HDgamer gave a me that L4D "supposedly" has dedicated server and Butterfinger all you said is that there are games that have them, if thats the case which ones? Cause on PSN I can tell you which do. Warhawk, Resistance 1 and 2 motorstorm 1 had some not sure about 2, MAG will contain dedicated servers, I believe MGO had some as well. This is information coming straight from the developers mouth. Not people on N4G. And for cer...
The Main reason I say no is lack of dedicated servers for any game.
Sony's free PSN services offers games which have dedicated servers. Live does not contain any game with dedicated servers. Not even Halo. I wouldn't care if Halo was the only game that had dedicated server support but at least the biggest game on the 360 would be the best running online game on the system. But lack of any type of dedicated server support has actually played a big part as to why I haven't bought a 360 ye...
sign me up, Naughty Dog has been by far top 3 developer this gen. Not accepting shortcuts for the sake of making a game that can sell easily with minor upgrades, they stand behind their product and the love and commitment shows.
Now all we need is for other developers to follow suit drop the dead weight of wanting everything easier for the sake of making a quick buck. Naughty has earned the right to my 60 bones. I will not play this game unless I can go into a store and pay for ...
Consumers would be more willing to buy new titles and at the same time the used game market (mainly Gamestop) would suffer. It would be smart of publishers to think of dropping the prices soon. I have started renting games again because I just can't keep up with buying game after game at $60. At $40 it would be enough for me to buy and at least try some lesser known titles. PS1 prices for PS3 games would be awesome. Until then I and most others will just buy games that we really want and rent...
One of the few games I would re-play if patched for trophies. I went back to uncharted for a bit because of trophies.
How I'm I on crack for thinking walmart might play bigger role. Wal-mart might not be used for a majority of game sales in big cities like New York, L.A., Chicago and such but there is a big part of the country where Wal-mart is where it's at. Even in some places in California Frenso and Modesto you might not see a best buys or Gamestop around but the one thing that is near most cities is a wal-mart. The point I was trying to make is just like VG charts uses estimates to conclude a certain sa...
This list is lame. On a side note Dudley is the beta stages whether he is in the game or not remains to be seen. If you go to justin wong's website (jwonggg.com) there will be a screen shot that shows dudley facing off against balrog (boxer)
