I had recurring freezing on PS3 in the main game and the frame rate drops in the DLC left it unplayable at many times. I couldn't even play the last two, despite paying for them.
For the most part, it would have been better if there was an option to periodically autosave even without changing areas. The worst problems occurred while wandering through the wasteland.
Stable and bug-free it definitely was not.
Don't feel like anyone needs to defend themselves. And don't bother trying to educate the deliberately ignorant.
It's their product. It's their service. They can charge whatever the hell they like in whatever form they choose. It's a free market. End of story.
YES
So why isn't your HDD 500?
Pathetic.
I see some people think I'm talking out of my ass.
Look at this:

I'm not dragging them down. I'm simply hoping for the best.
I'd say the graphical jump between InFamous 1 and 2 is among the biggest I've seen this generation. Very impressive.
I hope they improve their aliasing a bit before release though. I've noticed a lot of their screenshots are taken at really high res and then shown at a reduced size to smooth the edges.
To their credit though, the originals are always there for comparison on their flickr page. (Or Sony's flickr page)
Battery life and heat would be an issue if it was.
I think it's possible that we could get some 720p gaming on the go. I doubt we'll see the kind of model detail and population we see in top tier PS3 games.
I definitely think things along the lines of God of War Collection will be possible, not necessarily God of War III.
We could see Uncharted, not necessarily Uncharted 2.
I'm more curious about network capabilit...
You'd also need a gold membership.
Once the industry at large catches up to the current gen.
You can say "consoles are holding back gaming" or some such nonsense all you like, but fact is 4 of 5 studios can't make a technically stable game on current gen hardware, let alone truly next-gen hardware.
New hardware is irrelevant. Right now the biggest gap that needs to be filled to move the whole forward is better and less expensive middleware.
Well I was there until "Nobody liked Crisis Core".
Looks like I'll be starting over when I get home too. Yay.
First impressions...
You don't get access to the pack with the Full Game Trial.
I'm not really feeling ME2. I tried the demo on Steam a while ago and didn't like it at all. M/K controls and I don't really gel much. Playing with a controller is much better. (Why you can't do that on PC these days is beyond me)
Unfortunately I just feel lost. I have absolutely no engagement with these characters who keep being introduced as though I already know them.
I downloaded the PSN version of the game since it's cheaper than reta...
I don't see the phrase "like PS3" anywhere in the press release. Just TVs and Blu-ray players.
I always interpreted the story of XIII as an allusion of Japanese xenophobia, as represented by the citizens of Cocoon.
It'll never run out of stock on PSN.
(Not suggesting it's as good an option, though it's cheaper in Canada than retail.)
Clearly for Hyperbole.
Final Fantasy XI has been 'testing' MMOs on consoles for 8 years.
Rad.
