I have to admit, the older I get the less I'm into Mario. Throw me a Metroid title already Nintendo! I bought your Wii U, now give me some games so I can scrape the inch of dust off the damned thing!
And when it's a video review that shows the game in question and Youtube kills it, what then? Every review I post gets flagged by Youtube, almost invariably.
That's just shitty to say, and putting Pete's picture up there like that is worse. They don't OWE you Fallout 4, nor do they OWE you showing you a damned thing. I assure you, having known the guy for 15 years, that Pete Hines is one of the coolest guys in the industry, and he absolutely cares about the fans.
Sold out everywhere I've called. Hit up every Walmart and Best Buy near me and they are "out of stock and don't know know when we are getting more"
Did you actually read the article? By your tirade I'm guessing the answer is no.
I completely agree. I just didn't want the article to stretch to infinity either. :) There is a ton of tech that you really have to present to get the whole picture, but it really does come down to "don't stretch things - it looks bad". hehe
It matters if you want to choose the right platform that meets your setup, but it matters little in terms of overall image quality. It's not spin. There is plenty of math and knowledge in the article to back it up.
Going to pick it up on the Xbox One eh?
Solid review. I'm more of a single player dude, so that's disappointing. I'll still enjoy the hell out of multiplayer, but I enjoy a complete product for 60 bucks.
Step one - buy the previous games. That unlocks the several of them. Step two, follow the simple instructions to skin the animals that are plainly spelled out in the challenges. Not sure why I need a guide for this....
When I look at this list, all I can say is "NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE NOPE!!" Seriously...just looking at the screenshots for Amnesia or Outlast gives me the heebie jeebies
How is it oblivious to review one of the major components of a game? The single player is meh. People should hear that, right? Should we equally ignore it if it's good?
Some of us don't particularly enjoy multiplayer with a bunch of children so we gravitate towards the single player campaign. Just because you don't doesn't mean there aren't plenty of us out there that enjoy the single player experience.
Maybe game journalism is starting to be journalism instead of just a paid advertisement? Take a look around the 'net - there are MANY people having issues with their save files. Not exactly an isolated occurrence.
Just moving all the HUD stuff off the screen and onto the controller is enough to double dip. Great game, new way to play. :)
That's me an racing simulators. I like pick-up-and-drive games like the NFS or Burnout series. I just never really got into the sim parts of games like Gran Turismo....
Sports games always look the part - the question will really be how it plays. Pretty isn't always better.
We absolutely should not. There is a full game that could stand entirely on its own irrespective of how this launch worked that is worth the full price of admission. This is a freebie that is attached. We didn't 'give them two weeks'. They could have launched much later, and I suspect they would have, had they not already announced it.
For as big as the game was just in our demo, I imagine the download would be insanely huge for PS+!
For every non-violent game you don't play tomorrow, I'm gonna play two.
