Ex-Youtube CEO? *looks at piles of bullshit copyright claims on his YouTube videos*
Yea, fuck that guy. Fuck him right in his face.
Minus world...man, that brings back memories...
I was at the show floor pre-e3 thing they did last year. Let's be honest, it wasn't all that fantastic. We got access to the games they had on the floor about an hour before everyone else. I think they have the right idea - they are targeting the people who buy their games, not the press who cover them. We'll still get our coverage, it just won't be "liveblogged" from the event. Lame.
Put simply, Microsoft has to play the long game. They need to stick it out until E3, weather the bad press, and blow our socks off.
I'll bet on Bungie every time. It's a pretty safe bet. :)
Uhm, how many times am I gonna see the same B-Roll footage spliced together?
It still makes my eyebrow twitch when I see "Pre-sequel" We should send over a highlighted dictionary page that shows the word "Sequel". :)
Always nice when the guy who tackled the console version can also tackle the PC version for comparison. :)
Politicians aren't pinning problems on gaming, they are simply mouthing the words that make people want to hear. Remember that the most staunch opponent to video game violence just got picked up for weapons trafficking. Scumbags...
Based on the conversation I had with Philippe after the interview, this is the tip of the iceberg. They have some incredible ideas where to take it from here.
I was surprised at how well the ctOS Mobile app handled. It certainly felt like something new, and not just shoving the HUD across to another screen.
I was pretty blown away by how well it's all come together. The delay really helped I think.
Free to play garbage. No thank you. Single player game yes, this drek, no.
Solid review dude. Nicely done.
Ok, I'm obviously kinda terrible at this. 47,827
TLoU is a fantastic example of "games as art". I'd love to have a signed copy in my collection.
True, it'll look best on PC, just like games like Watch Dogs. I probably need to bump my graphics card (or SLI it) to get it to the resolution I'd like though.
I'm sure hats made entirely out of money for EA execs would sway their opinions. Just a thought.
The Xbox 360 still has a massive install base. There is no doubt that this will sell insane amounts on that platform. That said, I'm a sucker for the pretty. :)
Let's do some math....680 million+ Internet subscribed people in China. Roughly 275 million Internet subscribed folks in the USA. Yea, I'm sure it'll "cost them dearly". On a COMPLETELY unrelated note, when was the last time American McGee did anything worth buying?
