I run a Kinect fansite. I don't care about Move's sales.

Why? Because I play GAMES, not systems. I own Kinect. I own a Move controller, the KZ Gun, and a navigation controller. I have fun with both. I enjoy playing a bit of Tumble, Hustle Kings or Killzone 3, before switching and firing up Dance Central or Kinect Sports.

I find it hilarious that anyone even cares about the numbers. We know that both companies have sold enough to keep game publishers i...

Yup - because there are no new games. After E3 this year, Kinect will be hot again.

"Kinect is pretty bad and boring."

Well, if you've only spent two hours playing Kinect Adventures in the store, then you would think that.

Kinect Sports is excellent (and not boring). Dance Central is excellent (and not boring). "Sony is the best company ever" is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. They may be a good company (I love my PS3 and Move) - but the fact that you want to have babies with them is clouding yo...

Yeah, 10 million units sold, not to mention the amount of new Xbox 360 owners its created for the industry.

Obviously, Kinect has done nothing at all.

Let me guess, you're a guy who's mommy won't buy him one and who then just sits there whining about how shit it is, right?

So an article that is entirely made up of massive speculation and hyperbole, then. Brilliant.

Not even remotely true.

The Shoot: 3.5/5
Sports Champions: 4/5
High Velocity Bowling: 4/5
Resident Evil 5: 4/5
Flight Control HD: 4.5/5
Tumble: 5/5

The site isn't biased, its just honest. IGN gave The Fight 3 out of 10. Is that biased? Or, could it be, that the game stinks?

In fact, out of 15 Move reviews, the site is averaging 2.9/5.0 which is ABOVE average (average being 2.5, just in case you don&...

Which is KINETICboom.com, not KINECTboom.com.

"Kinetic" means "movement" and the site covers motion gaming products.

But, people weren't paying massive prices on eBay for Wii consoles on launch day here in the UK. They were paying massive prices on eBay for Wii consoles THE WEEK AFTER launch.

Why? Because Player A buys one, then invites Players B, C and D around to play it, then all of a sudden, those three players want to buy one.

Kinect will be selling for £200+ the week after launch. And the panic for early-adopters doesn't usually set in until three or four...

Thinly veiled fanboy argument. All I heard there was "Wah! Wah! Kinect sucks! Wah! Wah! Move rocks!"

Sorry, dude, but you're coming across as an absolute fanboy of the highest order. You need to stop getting so hung-up on this hardcore/casual split, man. Any ACTUAL hardcore gamer will tell you that a lot of "casual" games out there can actually be quite fun. Then again, an actual hardcore gamer plays whatever games they like, because they like playing ...

I think you mean that it figuratively has no games.

If it literally had no games, there would be no games available for it at all. When, in fact, there are 15+ titles scheduled for launch day.

HTH.

Just an unbelievable lack of research and understanding from the author there. MAG, Resi 5, Tumble, Sports Champions - all superb, and all very much off-rails.

5617d ago 1 agree0 disagreeView comment

Not really, given that "kinetic" means "movement" and "Kinect" is the name of Microsot's product, and the site's name is KineticBoom.com. :)

@Apocalypse Shadow

You could actually read the entire comment before going off on one, you know?

I said: "The fact is that there's very little on the horizon, and that's a problem. I don't mind waiting, as long as I know that there's something to actually look forward to!"

On the horizon in 2011 for Move, we have: Killzone 3. PlayStation Move Heroes. Michael Jackson: The Experience.

They're the...

True enough, but what about folks who went out and bought PlayStation Move, who are now sitting looking at a £50 (£70 if you bought a subcontroller too) that is gathering dust because there's "nothing to play?"

The fact is that there's very little on the horizon, and that's a problem. I don't mind waiting, as long as I know that there's something to actually look forward to!

Yah...prerelease game being shown there. Maybe judge the final product?

...which you haven't actually seen with your own eyes. Can't say I've noticed any problems with it.

5631d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

So you're just doing this on every article about Kinect, then? Poor.

5631d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Well, no...not really. EyeToy couldn't do 80% of what Kinect does, and it certainly couldn't do it with any accuracy. But thanks for playing.

Wow...paranoid much? OH NOES! MY TIN-FOIL HAT FELL OFF!

Perhaps you're a fucking troll.
