Only worry is judging by the way he's using the analogue sticks (flicking them), he's either totally incompetent or they are not firm/large enough for precision movement.

10gigs of ram is a very bizzare amount of ram to have.
1gb, 2gb, 4gb, 6gb, 8gb, 12gb, 16gb - these are normal (6gb and 12gb a bit less common).
10gb is just, weird, and difficult.
Next gen consoles having more than 4gb of ram ? that is debateable. My money is on no, seeing as 4gb would is already an 8 fold increase. I think they are more likely to get less than 4gb than they are to have more.
Why not upgrade to the newer sandry bridge i5's and i7's which are the normal dual channel ?

iRacing if you want realism. TDU2 Is an awesome game for car lovers who just like to cruise in there million dollar cars, clutch and shifter works well with it too on the G27.

Anyone here that thinks Forza is sim like should play iRacing. You will have the shock of your life. I can guaratee you will not be able to get round the track without coming off for at least 30minutes. GT5 is more sim like, but still quite a bit easier than iRacing.

I'm not so sure you will see 1080p/60fps. The compromise between graphics quality and resolution/framerate will always be there no matter how powerful the console is.
You can make a game look better at 720p/30fps, or make it look worse but have it at 1080p/60fps. That is a question developers still have to ask themselves. I'm all for consoles. I have a high spec gaming PC that i update yearly, a 360 and PS3. Sometimes a game won't come out on PC so i get it on Console, and that's cool. But if i have the choice between a PS3, PC, 360 version i usually go for PC (unless i know its a real crappy port).

The cars looked so good because they were in the "showroom" type mode where you walk around 1 single car. With no physics to calculate, no landscape, and only one car, sure it is going to look extremely good. Try zooming in that close to cars during gameplay..

This things great. The hardware is phenomenal. Sony rarely dissapoint with new consoles. Developers would be crazy to not give this thing there full support.

DICE don't like consoles. They make it clear PC is there preferred and target market. Quite frankly i am going to be very selfish here, i couldn't care less how well it ran on consoles - it's one of the very few games that are made on PC as lead platform, i think we deserve to have a game made for us PC gamers for once.

Not trying to troll here. But after practically 5 years, since the PS3 was launched, i would sure hope the new processor is more than just twice as powerful. Processor speeds double every 18 months roughly. As a minimum it should be 4x as powerful, likely more.
What is more likely is that they don't build it as fast as possible to save money.
Unreal Engine 3 is constantly updated.. it's not outdated. They just didn't make it look super pretty.
Im sure if they had the development budget of most multiplatforms it'd look even better - though personally i like its gritty and yet adequate graphics.
