To all those people saying "It's the same engine, it will have the same system requirements"
You don't know what you are talking about.
Would really appreciate a beta key.
Thanks in advanced :)
You've got to be dumb if you think you're smarter than two of the worlds most influential technology companies.
You think the PS4 and Xbox 720 are ready, just sat in the CEO's office while he plays games and laughs at everyone begging for info ? Whenever the first game show comes along when they have something to show, they will.
A single GTX 680 apparently.
Am I the only one that thinks UE4 looked better than Luminous Engine ?
Also, it's worth bearing in mind Square Enix have never stated the system specs for the PC demonstrating that engine, and you couldn't control anything, it was basicly a cut scene rendered in real time. Show me the same level of graphics running on one GTX 680 like UE4 demo, and let me wonder around that environment, and then I will be as impressed as I was with UE4.
The art style ...
They'd be shooting themselves in the foot with anything less than 4GB.
It doesn't just have to be competitive for 2013/14 release, it has to be competitive 6, 7, 8 years down the line. PC's will be on 16GB of RAM standard by then.
Developers will use as much RAM as you give them. Next Gen games are going to be 30GB+ consistently, so until you have more than 30GB of ram, your still going to be loading stuff on and off the HDD/Disc - which is *nev...
No.
I was impressed. When you go open world you usually sacrifice quality, it's incredibly hard to get the level of graphics you would see in a game like Uncharted into an open world game. It's a huge task from an game artists perspective, and a tough one to pull off technically - I would go as far to say impossible on consoles.
The developers have done great here, the game looks fantastic, but lets not pretend the console version will be even close to what we saw.
I didn't think Arkham City for U looked any better than the other console variants, but maybe it was the crappy stream quality.
Technically they are lieing. All AI does is choose from a list of predefined scripted events.
But yes, we all know what they mean.

Looks insane.
What the heck, Tesco don't know crap. Just some guy in an office typing in arbitrary numbers.
Anyone notice how super wide the road is in this picture compared to the car http://i.imgur.com/uRPUo.jp... ??
I mean, woah...
I also notice the world premier for Unreal Engine 4 is due for June 8th on GTTV :D
Perhaps but remember the 70m install base on each console by then won't dissapear, a lot of people won't upgrade to the new console straight away.
There will still be a lot of money to be made on current gen for a year or two after the new consoles are released.
But I do hope it is a next gen title.
Not sure I would describe coop and online as silly.. infact, co-op would be about the best feature they could add to Just Cause.
Apart from that I agree, breathe some life into the environment and polish up the core gameplay.
This isn't very resource intensive.
This tech is great, but it's not new. It's straight from a game called Rigs of Rods, and it's just softbody physics which as technically been around for quite a few years. This implementation though is almost certainly the best.
The reason you havn't seen it is because of the reason you said. No manufacturer will allow this. Also, it is both difficult, expensive and time consuming to create all these models with breakable, dentable parts.
And ...
