Soulja Boy may be plenty of things (arrogant, immature, boisterous) but an idiot he is not. The freaking guy built a web presence and viral marketing campaign at the age of 16, sold the most ringtones ever for a single and did it ALL BY HIMSELF!!! I agree. I rarely play my 360 anymore because it has started to freeze up on me and I can't stand the feeling I get playing a game and being nervous that the system might crap out on me. Now to be fair, my launch 60GB PS3 freezes on me too, but for some reason I don't feel any anxiety over it. I don't understand for the life of me why people would go through 3 or 4 consoles if they keep dying on them. If either my PS3 or my 360 dies on me more than once there's no way I would buy another one....
Think about it - on road trips all you have to do is bring your DS3 and your PSP and now you can play your PS3 anywhere due to remote play. And with video out, you can play it on a big screen HDTV too! So let's see I pack my PS3 and DS3, check into my hotel, hook my PSP up to the tv in my hotel room and bam - Now I can play my PS3 in the hotel - without having to carry it with me. Genius.

I hear where you are coming from. You've got all these games and accesories and Live membership and you don't want that to go to waste. I understand that. And if having to worry if your 360 is going to RRoD on you every time you play a game doesn't bother you than good for you brother. I've had my 360 for about a year and a half and I THANK GOD everytime I turn it on that it doesn't RRoD on me. Maybe it's because I don't play it as much as my PS3 that I haven't really had any issues with it. Anyway, there's NO WAY IN HELL I would be willing to go through 3 of the same product that died on me due to shoddy production. I don't care if it was my PS3, my car, my TV, my iPhone, etc..

I'm very encouraged by the previews as a good amount of them are saying that the graphics are top-notch, the gameplay is immersive and the A.I. is improved.
But I am noticing a trend. What's the deal with this "lacking something special" bullshit? I'm starting to think that what's missing is an Xbox controller and a Live subscription. If you look at total installed bases, the 360 is still on top of the PS3 by millions. So any developer with a game coming out in the next year or so will see the 360 as a more favorable device for selling software and making a profit.
Once the PS3 overtakes the 360 or shows definitive and drastic trends towards doing so, then it will be looked upon more favorably by developers and they will shift their focus accordingly.

If someone makes a crappy level - guess what? You don't have to buy it.
If someone charges too much for a level - guess what? You don't have to buy it.
And most levels will be free as only "certified" level designers will have the chance to sell their stuff.
And the game comes with 50 levels. So there's more than enough ...

There are a few more gameplay videos from the level pack on Gamespot and on YouTube. The more I see it the more I can't wait to get my hands on it. I'm not good at creating levels but I can't wait for some of my more talented gamers to take these MGS4 elements and turn them into something special.
