I think this gives Sony great momentum going into the holiday season and into 2010. They'll get a significant boost from this. It's possible that the Slim could "debut" at a price higher than $299... Let's say 349.99. Then once the supply of 80GBs have dried up, the slim will slide into the $299 spot. Same thing with PSP GO... $249 now for the Go in order to get the most from early adopters, then $199 once they've milked enough from them. Do I agree with this strategy? Not really - I think they need to come out of the gate with a bang. But hey I don't run Sony.
Lol I saw this this morning and thought about submitting it to N4G myself knowing it would easily reach 500 degrees off of the title alone. Then I read the article and it was nothing new. Just another "our sources say" that the PS3 Slim is confirmed. No pics. No circular scans with the slim photo in them. Nothing new.

Like I wrote earlier, just wanted to point out that the video with Ray Leonard & Co. was EDITED video provided by Microsoft to show celebrities having fun with Natal. The video was a "marketing" piece and any issues that would have come up would have surely been edited out. Therefore, unless someone has the unedited footage of the entire session, we have no idea whether or not there were any issues.
