Sounds like he got drunk from one beer.
The hardware is already in place. Sony just needs to give programmers and developers the tools to learn how to use it, if they haven't done so already.
There's also a separate processor that's 256MB. I don't know exactly what it's for, but i'm sure it allows more of the PS4's flexible memory to be used to develop games.

"I'm not a troll, just a speaker of truths."
Your truth isn't the truth, it's an opinion.
Fallout 4 is one i'm definitely looking for. Last Guardian looks interesting too.
I choose door number three, Destiny.
Don't get me wrong, I would love to have games with faster frame rates and higher resolution, but i'm not going to use FPS and HD resolution as a major reason to buy a game. The high resolution and faster frame rates don't mean that the gameplay is going to be exceptional.
An opinion piece with no supporting evidence. MEH
An Infamous TV show or 30 Minute, anime-styled, weekly series would be pretty cool.
Just voicing "my" opinion. Just like the author.
1080p isn't a buzzword. 1080p is high resolution output for HDTVs. Frame Rates Per Second is not a buzzword. Frame Rates dictate how fluid and stable a game will be during gameplay. A buzzword is "secret sauce." A buzzword is "The Cloud." Gamers do not like buzzwords because a "Buzzword" is usually followed by a bunch of Bullsh**! The author must be a casual gamer because he knows nothing about gaming or gamers at all.
The statements coming out of PAX about The Evil Within were based on an unplayable demo. I paid those statements coming from impatient crybabies no mind. I had this game on pre-order since March and no amount of whining from pseudo-journalists will make me change that pre-order. I trust my instincts and my instincts tell me that The Evil Within will be a game changing experience.
Hopefully the game being developed won't try to make a separate multiplayer mode instead of including multiplayer in the main campaign.
I'm ready to play Vagrant Story, Chrono trigger, Suikoden, and Breath Of Fire on PS Now.
Are you okay?
PS4 has 18 compute units for the GPU and a separate 256MB processor
Xbox One has 12 compute units for it's GPU
There are other differences to point out. Just saying.
Why would Sony do anything in response? I guess they could lower the price, offer 6 months of PS plus for free or offer Killzone in a bundle for free. I really don't see that happening until the winter holidays, if at all.
Reminds me of Final Fantasy Tactics.
@Infamus second son 1.1 million and titanfall 1.7 million on the Xbox One alone.
Again, those Titanfall numbers are for all software units sold, not for Xbox one alone.
"The April NPD report confirmed that PlayStation 4 was the top selling next generation console and remains the cumulative leader. in addition, inFAMOUS: Second Son was the top selling NEXT GEN software title in April."
"Daylight is a survival game combing horror and supernatural elements. It’s a short, often jump-scary romp through multiple procedurally generated environments, essentially making the game infinitely replayable."
You'd have to be a heavy drug user or a complete idiot to even begin to think that "daylight" is worth replaying. It is one of the worst games I have ever played on any console. Even Thief is better than this unimaginative heap of warm dog poo...
