Right now, Wolfenstein is definitely on the top ten list, for PS4 or Xbox One.
Watch Dogs GOTY? Not really. There's just too much going on with this game. It's trying to be everything for everyone. In some areas it works, in others it doesn't. The driving, for example; vehicles are difficult to maneuver and steer and makes driving an annoying task. Other than that, I haven't really had any complaints, but more definitely isn't better. Ubisoft should have kept it simple, like Wolfenstein.
A street fighter title on PS4? Why not. Injustice was an absolute disappointment.
Nothing surprising here. The PS4 wasn't expected to have massive sales numbers in Japan. Japanese gamers are playing smartphone and mobile games more than those offered for consoles.
Microsoft needs to understand the types of games Japanese gamers play. The same kind of games that American gamers want to play. RPGS, (NOT ACTION RPGS THEY SUCK!) Dungeon crawlers, FPS that don't have multiplayer (Wolfenstein), Open world action games like Infamous and GTA. Until Microsoft stops giving people what Microsoft thinks people want instead of what they actually want, the Xbox One will never establish itself in the Japanese gaming market.
Japanese people buy plenty of things that are American. Japanese people just don't like to spend their money on useless items.
How much is Microsoft charging users for it's "revolutionary" Skype service?
O_o
Isn't streaming free? Aren't there ways to connect to a network using webcams for FREE?
I have many more questions, but I think people see the point i'm trying to make.
Ridiculous article. The PS4 has sold nearly 3 million more units than the Xbox One and the PS4 is selling nearly 400,000 more units per month than the Xbox One. When the Xbox One outsells the PS4 in any month in 2014, feel free to bring back one of these articles. Until then, any such article of this type is pointless and redundant.
I get disapproved for submitting an article detailing Sony's plans to expand PS Network and PS Now and this rehashed bowl of ground monkey scrotums is some how approved? Wow.
The gameplay reminds me of Doom mixed in with more blood and guts. Wolfenstein is beautiful.
Reviews should never be your first and last source of information when it comes to purchasing a game or a console for that matter. Some reviewers are no doubt, PAID to give great reviews for games by developers to help create hype for the game. I don't trust any reviews. I research the game, the developers, and watch gameplay videos and I continue that search for information up to the last few days before the release date so I can make an informed decision. If you're one of the people...
It deserves every bit of it's success.
I play violent video games and watch violent action and horror movies. I'm so passive and non-violent that when i'm driving I slow down to avoid running over birds and squirrels that are in the path of my car.
O_o
I'm going to go play Wolfenstein. After i'm done, i'll drive to Berlin and kill some Nazis? Oh wait, it's not real.
Maybe others will learn not to pass judgement on future games based solely on a stream or a demo that lasts for 5 minutes. I still remember watching Wolfenstein being streamed on twitch and the typical whiney critics popping up talking about weak graphics and no multiplayer and that Wolfenstein is a basicly a bag of warm poop. I had this game on pre-order since March 22nd and never waivered in that decision. For the 3rd time out of 4 pre-orders(I Pre-ordered Thief, which is a bag of warm poo)...
My list is similar with graphics being the least important on my list.
Story (Includes voice acting and the main campaign in my opinion)
Gameplay (Length of the game, in game items, weapons, mods, Ai, and character controls)
User Interface/Menus (Accessing weapons, items, and the options menu)
Replay value
Graphics or overall presentation (I include overall presentation because a game can excel without having...
I see why they wanted to "polish" the game.
So what the hell will be the games out from now until September? The Last Of Us Remastered is my only hope. Otherwise, i'm waiting until Shadow Of Mordor comes out to buy another game, unless some interesting indies come out.
This game is definitely on my "must have" list.
Another game for the pre-order list?
